Something new in the cosmetic world with an ancient product: PEAT
Thanks to a collaboration with the prestigious University of Pavia, ArmoniA Spa & Fitness Centre presents a brand new treatment with peat, a naturally organic material derived from a long process of maceration created by vegetal deposits that have “matured” in thermal waters during the course of thousands of years. Specifically, the peat used
at the ArmoniA Centre comes directly from the Spa of Versilia and is matured in sulphoric and salsobromoidic water, to which it owes its particular characteristics. Peat has a high percentage of minerals and natural substances such as vitamins, lipids, humic and fulvic acids. In addition to treating numerous afflictions of the joints and the skin,
peat is also very useful in combating cellulite due to its antiinflammatory and antiedmigenous actions as well as nourishing the tissues, replenishing minerals and aiding the microcirculation of the face and body. The peat is spread evenly on the skin at room temperature for a pleasant effect on a specific area or over the whole body.

Du Lac “signature” outdoor & water sports The Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort is the only Hotel of the northern Lake Garda which disposes of its own watersport and multi sport centre. With “Sailing Du Lac” you can experience the incredible feeling to glide across the water, either with catamaran, dinghy or with a surfboard. Our Centre offers sailing courses for children and adults of all levels to obtain the internationally recognized “vdws” license. Preview the more active side of a holiday on Lake Garda! Dedicated to two-wheeler... Tenno Lake
Difficulty: medium Length: 25 km Gradient: 555 m Duration: 2 h Leaving from the Ingarda office at Largo Medaglie d’Oro al Valor Militare 5, you cross Riva del Garda in the direction of Varone until reaching the Cascata del Varone (Varone Falls), where you follow the signs for Tenno. After approx. 200 m of the spectacular canyon, when you are at the sign that indicates the town of Gavazzo, an asphalt road climbs to the left towards the town of Cologna di Tenno. Then take (state road) S.S. 421, for just 600 m, when you take the direction of Volta di Nò at the first hairpin turn that heads left. After 100 m turn left, following directions on the wooden sign with the yellow writing: “Strada per Tenno”. Pedalling along this gravel road that becomes cobblestone you will ride parallel to the state road until you reach the Tenno city limits , maintaining the splendid view of Riva del Garda, Mt. Brione and the lake constantly on your left. At Tenno proceed on the main road; after two hairpin turns leave S.S. 421 where you will see a gravel road on your left, taking you directly to Villa del Monte. At the end of the route you cross a street and continue straight following the wooden tourist sign that is at the intersection. A secondary street takes you to Lake Tenno (less

than 1 km), passing an intersection that will lead you back after a visit to the lake and a refreshing swim in the summer. Remember that there is a local ordinance that prohibits bicycling on the trails that circle the lake. Returning to the cobblestone intersection and following to the left, you pass through the picturesque medieval village of Canale. Keeping all the little streets on your left, you emerge directly at the provincial road that, after 200 m, takes you to the town of Calvola (642 m. elevation). At the fountain continue along a steep downward slope that you are obliged to take, ignoring the deviation to the right. After about 1 km you are above the town of Tenno near the hairpin turn of S.S. 421. Proceed keeping to the left and after another 2 km of asphalt road you return to S.S. 421 at the hairpin turn for Volta di Nò. Turning left once again on a tough little road, first asphalt, then gravel, then cobblestone at the end, you reach the centre of Varignano, where you turn right and reach Santuario delle Grazie, Ceole, Varone, then pick up the cycling path that takes you to Riva del Garda.

From the hydro-electric station of Riva del Garda you take Via Gargnano (Gardesana Occidentale S.S. 45bis), in the direction of Limone. On the right, before the tunnel, you climb along the old road of Ponale that once connected Riva del
Garda with the Valle di Ledro (Ledro Valley), today a walking/cycling trail with jawdropping views. Along the trail you can discover many arrow slits, tunnels and Austro Hungarian fortifications that were erected to impede the descent of Garibaldi’s troops in the Ledro Valley towards Garda and to defend the borders of the Austro Hungarian empire with Italy during WWI.

Il Bastione (The Bastion)
Il Bastione, erected to protect Riva del Garda after years of Venetian domination, is a symbol of the city. Constructed in grey stone, the bastion is situated at the base of Mount Rocchetta, dominating Riva and the lake, and is reachable in a few minutes from the port of the city. Hours of operation: open all day every day.
The Rocca
Directly in the centre of Riva del Garda and connected with the mainland by a bridge, the Rocca was built in the XII century to defend the old fortified port. Today it houses the Civic Museum where you can admire prehistoric archaeological artefacts, the armoury, the costume display and a picture gallery. From the keep you can enjoy a splendid view of the lake. Church of the Inviolata
The most emblematic monument of Riva del Garda. In elegant Baroque style, the Church was built in 1603 and consecrated in 1636. It is a point of interest for religious pilgrims as it contains a miraculous tabernacle. Hours of operation: every day from 9:00 to 17:00.

Distillates and Grappas from Trentino In Trentino, the distillation of grappa has always played an important role in the popular culture and through the course

of centuries has been perfected into an art. Monovitigno grappa is produced by distilling individual grape pomace varietals. From aromatic grapes such as Moscato Giallo you obtain an intense and captivating taste and aroma while more delicate varietals are produced by Nosiola, Schiava, Teroldego, Marzemino and others. Don’t forget the distilled fruits, with their ability to capture the essence of the fruit, such as plums of the town of Dro, apricots, pears and other small fruits. Vino Santo Trentino Vino Santo Trentino is obtained by allowing the Nosiola grape to dry on wooden racks until pressing, taking place on Holy Week, just before Easter. The juice obtained is fermented and refined for many years until it becomes a unique and rare example with a delicious and complex nose, rich in sweetness from the grape.
