Style Tips Always play to your strengths and wear clothes and accessories that highlight these areas. In your case, the gorgeous colour of your eyes, your warm skin tone, your neckline, slim ankles to name a few. Remember that dressing well is all about balance. Try and balance your shoulders and hips when possible and emphasise your waist to create an hourglass shape.
Tops & Jackets Keep tops and jackets as snug and fitted when possible. Roll or push up sleeves of jackets to reveal your wrists. Open shirts, Scoop and V necklines will always be flattering on you. Utilise long cardigans and scarves and experiment with layering these over smaller tops and skinny pants or skirts.
Remember the “front-tuck” style when wearing longer tops. Just half tuck the front and back and bag-over or leave the back out when wearing jeans. Show off your slim arms and legs.
Skirts & dresses High-waisted pencil skirts are very flattering (although not too highwaisted as they will sit under your boobs!) as are soft A-lines and wrap A-lines.
Pants Go for mid-rise in pants and jeans so you avoid the “back-gap”. Skinny styles look great on you and remember to roll up slightly to show a bit of ankle when possible. Coated pants are always great because they are firmer on the body. Darker wash jeans and pants are universally more flattering.
Fabrics Steer away from clingy fabrics, especially around the tummy area. Stick to light, floatier fabrics where possible.
Shoes Nude heels will always elongate your leg. Try and pick a shade close to your skin colour.

Accessories When it comes to accessories, less is more. If you are wearing a statement necklace, keep the rest of your jewellery minimal. If you are wearing statements earrings, do the same. If you are wearing fine jewellery, (long or short fine chains) make sure that the rest of your jewellery is simple and light.

Skin If you are concerned about veins, we recommend using a bronzing lotion. We use Bronze Radiance by Sugar Baby RRP $19.95 – available at Myer and most pharmacies. It is basically a wash-off bronzing cream that you can rub on quickly and helps camouflage any skin imperfections eg skin pigmentation, spider veins etc. Great if you are wearing darker colours. Spray-tans are also an excellent way to hide all manner of skin imperfections and even out skin tone effectively.
Tips
“enjoy your gorgeous new looks with the style and confidence you deserve”
A really good working wardrobe is made up of 80% classic staples; your everyday clothing (pants, denim, skirts, basics). The rest of the wardrobe is made up of fashion pieces, coloured tops, accessories, scarves etc. That 20% can be updated each season to reflect the trends etc.

Shopping Tips • Now that your wardrobe contains the essential classic staples eg dark

jeans, blue jeans, blazers, shoes, sneakers, camis, etc., you should be able to wear everything in your closet quite easily. Refrain from shopping until you have got used to your new looks. Take note of what styles you wear the most often, what looks good on you and what makes you feel good. This goes for fabric and colours too. Eventually you will be able to work out what your personal style is. This will make shopping a lot easier as you will know what suits you and your lifestyle. Always try on an item before you buy it. Ask yourself, would I wear this today? Does it work with other pieces in my wardrobe? Does it fit perfectly? If not, don’t buy it. If you are ever unsure of a piece get the shop assistant to hold it and walk away. Once you are away from the item, then give it some thought. Beware of impulse buying. Beware of buying too many “special occasion” items – evening dresses, sparkly tops, statement-shoes etc. The more pieces you own that can be dressed up and down, the more wear they will get. It doesn’t matter if an item is expensive or cheap, always make sure the fabric feels good on you and is well made. And remember : you can always return it.
