Client Expectations •At into Action the expectations for Treatment for clients are extremely important.
•At Into Action we expect clients to come with an open mind. •Clients must be willing to change their maladaptive behaviors and do something completely different than before. •Clients must understand that staff at Into Action has a goal of having clients work on themselves and their addictions. •In order to make these changes, clients must trust the process. •This means to be humble, open, honest and willing to look within. Clients must be respectful to peers, staff, and self. •Clients must be willing to take staff advice and recommendations, even when they may not fully understand those recommendations. •Clients must not engage in any aggression, anger or hatred towards their peers or staff. •At Into Action we do not encourage “war stories “or glorifying memories of substance abuse. •At Into Action we focus on the solution, not the problem. •The clients are to express themselves in an appropriate manner, considering that their language may be offensive to others. •The client is required to follow all the house rules and regulations at all times. •If the client refuses to follow house rules and regulations, then an automatic administrative dismissal occur. •At Into Action we want clients to focus on themselves and be aware of their dishonesty, manipulations, and elevated egos. •The focus should be solely on self. The client is required to attend all groups and activities. •The client will have weekly individual sessions with a therapist, three days a week home group with therapist, and weekly family sessions.
•Into Action always has an open-door policy, so if clients need more one-on-one time with their therapists or other clinical staff, this is available. •The client must participate in all activities of daily living, which includes maintaining daily hygiene and keeping individual rooms and group rooms clean. •Clients will be responsible for placing their trash and cigarettes in the proper containers. •Into Action will not tolerate negative contact with peers. •Clients must realize that secrets keep people sick, and by keeping those secrets, they could be enabling another client to their relapse or death.
