What is Key Club? Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. We are caring and competent servant leaders transforming communities worldwide. The core values of Key Club International are leadership, character building, caring and inclusiveness. Hazen Key Club is a part of Division 32, which is composed of Hazen, Lindbergh, Kentlake, Kent-Meridian Kentridge, Kentwood, Renton and Tahoma. Division 32 is part of a proud Pacific Northwest district.

Greetings from the Editor Hello Key Clubbers, long time, no read. Can you believe we had our first snow of the year already?! I hope your month of November was delightful and you had fun at the divisional fundraisers like Dance to Cure and Skate to Cure! Guess what?! T-7 days. Winter break will be here in a week and that means that officer elections are right around the corner. I really encourage you lovely key-uties to consider running for an officer position. It changes your life in unimaginable ways. Cheesy? Sure. True? Definitely. Following that is DCON, so make sure you’re getting those DCON prerequisites out of the way! As Tommy would say, “TURN IN YOUR HOURS!” Shout out to my fellow seniors out there. I know your pain, but hey, the last of the college applications are due in January, so best of luck to you all! I know you guys have been working hard, day and night, and we’re almost there! I hope ya’ll enjoy this month’s newsletter, it’s the last one of 2016! Have an amazing break and I’ll see you next year!

In Love and Service, Kira Kusumi

Greetings from the President Hello Key-uties, Time has flown by so quickly and I can't believe how much has happened. Next month, you will find out who the 2017-2018 Key Club board is, registration for DCON will be on its way, we will have witnessed another fundraiser, and everyone will have the tshirts/hoodies they ordered. Needless to say, there's so much to look forward to within the short time I have left with you guys. All the events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities will help raise your Key Club involvement to be as high as it can be. We really encourage you guys to do as much as you can because your involvement can take you far (and of course, your DCON requirements will be cleared‌ Check out the interest meeting on the 12th). Happy holidays, happy volunteering, use those free shirts as gifts, see you next month

In Love and Service, Ashley Vo

Dragon of the Month goes to‌

You’ve been so involved with Key Club since freshman year! Your dedication, attendance, and hard work has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for your service and keep it up!

Who will be the January Dragon?

Learn More About Trinity… What was your favorite service event? My favorite service event was the hot chocolate run because it was the first time I really talked to any of the seniors that graduated last year, and we just had a really fun time volunteering.

What's your favorite food? Why should other members attend DCON?

Chicken soup.

Honestly, it's an unforgettable event that nothing else can compare to. It's so much fun (plus, there are lots of key-ute people there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)).

What's your spirit animal? A sloth because all I want to do is sleep everyday.
