OFFICER'S MESSAGE

EDITOR'S LETTER LAUREN HUYNH Hi! Happy January welcome to the first month of 2020! DCON is just around the corner and I am excited to see our club grow, until then, I highly encourage everyone to continue volunteering around the community and TURN IN YOUR HOURS! Congratulations to our

new incoming board. Keep reading to meet them! On a side note, if you haven't noticed, my January newsletter theme is very grey and mono-chromatic. Coming into my position, I had intentions of making my newsletters and Instagram graphics very bright, fun, and colorful. I love colors and think they brighten up the mood. Today, I have challenged myself to go grey. I have always associated creativity with colors and am seeing if I can make this newsletter appealing in shades of grey. Other than that, I hope you have been keeping up with our various fundraisers and support the club! See you very soon! In love and service, Lauren Huynh <3

events of the year, the hot chocolate run! I hope to see lots of you guys there and if you need a ride know you are always welcome to ask for a seat in the car el Ben. All in all, I’m getting sad because it’s getting close to the end of my term but I can’t wait to end it with a bang!

In love and service, Hey Key Clubbers! I’m super excited for Ben Bunyatipanon DCON season as we’re getting closer and closer! I can really feel the vibes. #DCONvibes lol. I’m also excited to volunteer with all of you at one of the biggest volunteer

DRAGON OF THE MONTH

KAITLYN

Every month we choose a member to recognize. Our dragon of the month is Kaitlyn! We asked her about her key club experience and this was her response: What is your fav part about being in fundraising committee? My favorite part of being apart of the fundraising committee is feeling like I’m involved in the club and getting to know so many new people. Why did you join KC? I joined KC because I wanted to help my community by getting involved in community service and to make new friends. Fav key club memory? My favorite memory was probably playing games at the December DCM.

NEW OFFICERS

D32 LTG Jennie Yu

I am very honored to be serving as the LTG. For my upcoming term, I am excited to be communicating closely with each club to overcome difficulties together! From this experience, I want to develop a strong relationship with key club members and community members. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any challenges, ideas, or questions. I will try to help to the best of my abilities!

President Angel Dinh

I’m most excited to work with the board and members to begin a new chapter in 2020. If it wasn’t for everyone’s help, I wouldn’t be able to be where I’m at today and because of that, I’m feeling very grateful. Through this experience, I hope to gain more long-lasting memories that I could carry with me by the time I graduate, providing members with a great experience with Key Club.

VP Jayla Perkins

I'm most excited to see all the accomplishments our club has! This year, I feel like we've had so many milestones and just an overall better vibe so I can't wait to see how things go from here! I hope to gain a better relationship with the members than I've had before. There's so many members sometimes it's hard to truly get to know everyone so I'm going to try even harder this upcoming year!
