Greetings from the Editor Hello love, So much is coming up, are you as scatter-brained as I am?! DCON will be here in less than two months! I hope you all are stoked because you’re in for something big and unforgettable…prepare yourselves (especially emotionally). With DCON right around the corner, that also means that our newly elected innies will be taking over soon. Hopefully you have introduced yourselves to them. Try warming up to them and getting to know them because they will be your officers for a whole year after we retire. Go easy on my innie, she’s pretty great! Also, make sure you’re getting your deadlines in line and turning money in when you need to be! Club apparel should also be on its way shortly, so look forward to that! Enough said, I hope you enjoy this month’s issue! P.S. Happy Valentine’s Day or Single Awareness Day (either way, you have my love  P.P.S. Go and check out Hazen Key Club’s Weebly website! We’ve updated it a lot and it’s lookin fiiiine….

In Love and Service, Kira Kusumi

Dragon of the Month goes to‌

Continue with your activeness in serving your community, attending meetings, and showing us your enthusiastic and passionate side for Key Club!

Who will be the March Dragon?

How well do you know Jordan? What was your favorite service event? My favorite volunteering event was definitely the Jingle Bell Run because of all the memories I made. I remember so many details that make it feel like I’m reliving the moment. The memories I made with my friends going to this event turned out to be such an endearing journey. It felt as though the event was a separate day shrunk down to 3 hours. So much excitement and going so fast too. Everything about it was so memorable.

What's your favorite food? My favorite food has got to he curry. Curry has this burst of flavor with every bite that excites the mouth. The hints of spiciness are probably the most I can handle since I can’t do spicy.

Why are you going to DCON? I decided to go to DCON this year because I thought if I was going to be in Key Club, I wouldn’t want to miss the best parts of it. I want to start out my Key Club career with the best morality and ride that wave so I can be and stay dedicated to the club. I look forward to just meeting the people there in general. DCON has already brought me opportunities from the online Facebook group and I’ve been connecting. Seeing them in real life and seeing more people will just allow me to have more friends and explore parts of my life that are yet to be discovered.

What's your spirit animal? I think my spirit animal is a duck. I’m usually lazy around in the water but when I want to exceed and fly, I have the ability to soar through the skies. Ducks come and go as a group. I rely a lot on other people and I want people to see me as a reliable person so always be with them in times of need.
