A few words from your new officers Hello Key Clubbers! Spring has started and so has the new Key Club term! I am thrilled that we are able to have newsletters again thanks to our new and fully capable bulletin editor, Andy Ly! To start of this new term, I would like to congratulate the newly elected board members, including our fundraiser committee head, Alex Guo, who personally stepped up to this position. I would also like to thank the past board members for all their dedication and joy they have brought to the club. A special thanks to our two lovely Kiwanis advisors who always come and support us, Marge Eastman and Vanessa Chodykin, we could not have progressed this far as a club without you guys! But wait, there’s more! Without you, the amazing members, our club would not have been able to raise over $800 for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF or have served over 500 hours of community service! These are just some of the incredible accomplishments you guys have achieved just this year, and I know we will continue to strive together as friends, as leaders, and as a Key Club family. - Jacquelin Huang, Your Hazen Key Club President

Hey Key Clubbers! My name is Crystal and I am your 2015-2016 Vice President. I would like to welcome all the officers and the members to an exciting year of service and fun. Our goal this year is not only to serve and to care for those around us, but also to open up our club to all students who want to join. So let's share our key club spirit and passion and continue to help better our community to the best of our abilities. I would like to also get to know everyone a little better, don't be afraid to contact me via Facebook or email if you have any questions. Get pumped for lots of key club cheering! Because this year will undoubtedly be the toastiest of them all. With love and care, Crystal Tam 5

A few words from your new officers Hey Key Clubbers! My name is Andy Luu and I am happy to be able serve you guys as your Key Club Secretary! I remember 3 years ago when I first joined Key Club as a freshman, having the passion to give service to others. I will never forget my first service project I’ve ever done for Key Club for a clothes bank that reminded me that service is the most important thing you can give to a community leading me to volunteer as much as I can through vast amounts of service projects. Time has definitely gone by extremely fast with my last year in Key Club already here but I am so thankful to have been chosen to be your secretary. I will absolutely not let you members down during my term and I will do my best to serve as much as I can to this club! I am glad that I will be able to help you guide you guys to the right path, to care for others and contribute to your school and community! I look forward to searching and contacting numerous supervisors to help find tons of community service opportunities, bring exciting icebreakers and activities, and give recognition to my members for all of their hard work this upcoming term! Always keep in touch with me! I will be there anytime you have any questions or suggestions you have to contribute to the club because it’s not just the officers running the club but the members as well! All of your ideas and contributions are greatly appreciated to help support the club! Remember to keep the passion for service strong and continue to be the amazing servant-leaders you truly are!

In Love and Service, Andy Luu

Hi Key Clubbers, My name is Yena Nguyen. I am the treasurer of Hazen Key Club for the school year of 2015-2016! I will be a senior next year thus I will make my term the best year yet. I have plans for fundraising for the Elimination project and for our club. Also I am beyond excited to work with my new board members to come up with new ideas. I will work extra hard during due season in order to get it in on time. Hopefully we'll receive the early bird patch. Lastly, I want to say that I will fulfill my duty as key club treasurer as best as I could.

To my amazing Key Clubbers, Thank you so much for allowing me to serve as your president this past year and in turn, allowing me the honor of one day being called your grand outie. It has been quite the experience filled with much unexpected hardship but so much more in return. Thank you to all of you who have chosen to give back to our community, break ice during our meetings, become master wing crafters, but most importantly being a part of this incredibly huge family because these are all memories I will take with me to college. Now welcome the new faces of your board! With Jacquelin, Crystal, Andy Luu, Yena, and Andy Ly and each of their dedication, I am certain I am leaving Key Club with the most capable. This means you have many things to look forward to this following year of Key Club! But always remember, UW isn’t too far away! I’ll be around, Key Club events, fundraisers, visits, whatever it may be. With much love, Cindy Truong Immediate Past President

One last farewell from our

Lieutenant

Governor of 2014-2015 Jenny Feng

Dear Key Clubbers, While my term is over, my dedication to service is not. Key Club is not just an organization-- it's a way of life. We care about others, we serve our communities, we actively work to better the world. That is who we are and who we will always be. Whether you're a freshman just starting their journey or a senior ending it, I hope you carry the core values everywhere you go. In my four years of Key Club, I met countless inspiring role models, ranging from members to the International Vice President. No matter where you are in your Key Club journey, know that your actions as a servant-leader can and will make a difference in the lives of others. But while position is by no means an indicator of your impact, I nevertheless highly encourage you to consider getting more involved and running for positions! Both of my wins and losses in elections were some of the greatest learning experiences, and I know they will be for you too. If you ever need any advice, or simply have any questions, never be afraid to send me a Facebook message. My term is over but my willingness to help Division 32 is not! I wish you the best of luck with the upcoming Key Club term, and I can't wait to see the new heights y'all will take service to. - Your Immediate Past Lieutenant Governor 12
