Do you worry every time you have a bath?

Maybe you can’t have a bath anymore. A powered bath lift will enable you to have a bath safely and will take away those worries.

Using a bath lift is very simple, you don’t need to step over the edge of the bath any longer. Your powered bath lift becomes like a board across the top of your bath, you simply sit on the edge, slide to the middle and then swing each leg over the edge of the bath. You are now ready to go down.

14 Ramp Selection Guide When choosing a ramp, the length, and therefore the angle of the ramp, depends upon:  The height to be raised  The type of wheelchair or scooter  The weight of the wheelchair or scooter and the user  The strength of the helper or user As a general guide, a raise of 1 in 12 is suggested when the user is seated on a wheelchair or scooter. Imagine, being able to go upstairs safely without struggling...

This can be your experience! A stairlift enables you to glide up your stairs with no effort. Simply sit on the seat, put your feet on the footplate, press the “up” button and up you go. When you reach the top, press a lever and the seat will swivel, enabling you to safely get off the seat. You’re now upstairs.

If you are unable to operate it yourself, an attendant can operate the stairlift, either at the top or bottom of the stairs, with a separate hand control switch.

Three piece suites today are made very low, usually soft, making it very difficult to stand up. A high seat chair enables you to stand up easily – without struggling. They are not too soft and give good postural support. You can sit for many hours without discomfort. Your head is supported by the chair’s tall back, and if you want to doze you can rest your head against side wings. The higher seat and well-positioned arms enable you to stand up easily. If you have a back condition, the high back really supports your lumbar region and helps to reduce back pain and discomfort.

Now you can get out of bed without struggling Do you struggle to sit up in bed?

Perhaps you need to get to the toilet in the night, but find it very difficult to get out of bed – very frustrating.

An adjustable bed will take away those struggles and frustrations. By the touch of a button, the powered back rest will lift you to a sitting position; no straining, no effort.

Once you’re in a sitting position, it becomes much easier to swing your legs off the bed and be able to stand up. It really can make getting out of bed so much easier. Not only does it make it easier getting in and out of bed, but you can read a book or magazine in bed too. There’s no need for half a dozen pillows behind you. You simply raise yourself to a comfortable angle. If you like breakfast in bed, that becomes a more pleasurable experience too!!

Additionally, your adjustable bed will elevate your legs, again by the touch of a button.
