Dulwich Hill Councillor Maggie Browning | maggie.browning@southwark.gov.uk range of fantastic projects via our Neighbourhood Fund, Cleaner Greener Safer and Devolved Highways Budget. This includes over £50,000 towards a new pedestrian crossing on Lordship Lane at the junction with Mount Adon Park and Court Lane, due to the high levels of speeding on this section of road. We also granted funding to Goodrich School to plant trees to celebrate the Queen’s jubilee and funding for yoga classes for older people at Lew Evans House run by Linkage Southwark. International Women’s Day It was brilliant to join the East Dulwich Women’s Institute in March for their International Women’s Day event. We had a great discussion about a range of important issues, including Violence against Women and Girls, the pay gap and the cost of childcare. Support for Ukrainian refugees The war on Ukraine has shocked us all and the Ukrainian people are constantly in our thoughts. As a Borough of Sanctuary, Southwark has a proud history of welcoming refugees and we are focused on doing all we can to help Ukrainian refugees, as well as supporting Ukrainian nationals who already live in Southwark.
