9am – 3pm. Our camp offers the children a chance to build their confidence in a friendly environment. Our aim is for each child to leave daily with the biggest smile on their face and feeling proud of what they’ve achieved. Children ages 4-8 years. Tuesday 1 June: Beautiful Beetles with the Adventure Aunt

Tuesday 1 June: Life in Dulwich in WWII Part 2: 1942-1944 with Brian Green
8pm-9pm. A talk about Dulwich during WWII 1943 opened with a devastating air raid on Dulwich and in June 1944 the V1 campaign began with higher casualties for Dulwich than the Blitz. Amidst the havoc Dulwich folk still went to the theatre, ballet, concerts and out to tea in London! Continuing our ‘On the Street Where You Live’ series, join Brian Green to learn more about life in Dulwich in WWII. Tickets cost £5 and all proceeds for this event will go to making Bell House film courses accessible to all.

Thursday 3 June: No Barriers - the Future of Dyslexia with Nick Posford
7pm - 8pm. In this talk, the CEO of the British Dyslexia Association, Nick Posford, will explore the charity’s evolving strategy and its potential impact for dyslexic people of all ages, and for all of us. This event is free but please consider a donation of £5 if you can. Any proceeds will be split equally between the British Dyslexia Association and the dyslexia support work at Bell House. 10am – 3pm. The weekly Horniman Market is open to provide food items including fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, bread, cake, meat and street food. Alongside food stalls, you’ll find body care, clothing, jewellery, design and craft; most are locally produced, ethical and many use environmentally friendly materials, natural and organic ingredients. Market stalls will be positioned outdoors at a safe distance from each other to ensure we can maintain a social distance for all customers and traders. Strict and enhanced hygiene measures are in place with all traders. We also ask that you sanitise your hands at each available stall and only touch produce you intend on buying. Visit beautiful Dulwich gardens and support local charity Link Age Southwark! Now restrictions are easing, Link Age Southwark are delighted to be involved in a number of upcoming Open Garden events hosted by local supporters, in aid of the charity. The Dulwich gardens will open to the public with all proceeds of tickets, refreshments and plant sales going towards Link Age Southwark’s work with older people and people living with dementia in the community.
