Tuesday 1 June: Beautiful Beetles with the Adventure Aunt
8pm-9pm. A talk about Dulwich during WWII 1943 opened with a devastating air raid on Dulwich and in June 1944 the V1 campaign began with higher casualties for Dulwich than the Blitz. Amidst the havoc Dulwich folk still went to the theatre, ballet, concerts and out to tea in London! Continuing our ‘On the Street Where You Live’ series, join Brian Green to learn more about life in Dulwich in WWII. Tickets cost £5 and all proceeds for this event will go to making Bell House film courses accessible to all. www.bellhouse.co.uk www.dulwichsociety.com
Thursdays 3, 10, 17 & 24 June: BNI Adventurers (online meeting) 10am - 4pm. An exciting nature-based day out with the Adventure Aunt, looking at incredible beetles at the Natural History Museum and designing your own beetle collections, with beetle-hunting and a picnic in the park afterwards.
