Lockdowns put our free pop-up valuation events on hold but life has gradually returned to normal and we’re delighted to be returning to The Coach & Four, 69/71 Alderley Road, Wilmslow, SK9 1PA. Free valuations will be available there on September 16, October 21 and November 18, 11am-2pm. So, what should you bring along for assessment? Well, it could be anything from a Chinese treasure, painting, designer watch, jewellery, coin, toy or medal to a match-worn football shirt or Pokémon game. Gaming consoles and vintage video games have been in hot demand at auction throughout lockdown but auction sales are buoyant generally. People with money and time to spare from all over the world love to bid online. Antiques, collectables and jewellery fire the imagination and are desired for all manner of reasons by all kinds of people. For example, interior designers love to scour our home décor and furniture items in search of something special for clients, and our summer Clock Auction was a good hunting ground for them.
