E’ dagli anni novanta dello scorso millennio infatti che l’universo di questa pittrice è ormai pullulato da corpi smembrati e riassemblati che ricomposti assumono nuovi funzioni e significati. Il corpo, soprattutto quello femminile diventa ancora una volta icona e linguaggio. E’ un corpo frantumato, odiato e amato; alchemicamente ricostruito. E’ un corpo in transito, appartenente ad un universo fittizio e malato, geneticamente modificato.

Membra umane che anziché comunicare con una sana gestualità sono chiamate ad interpretare una danza innaturale e macabra; una danza che cela richiami apocalittici di un’umanità che giunta ormai alla fine di un ciclo, per continuare ad esistere non può che sottrarre sempre più spazio alle altre creature che popolano il nostro pianeta, fino a sostituirsi addirittura ad essa e farsi animalesca infiorescenza.

In questo inarrestabile disfacimento uno sguardo privilegiato l’autrice, pare averlo riservato al mare ovviamente il suo mare, il Mediterraneo - la madre primigenia di ogni forma di vita. Ed è ovviamente un mare anomalo, necessariamente irreale, ferocemente ricostruito: il Mare Nostrum del 2009.

Anthropomorphous details in the artistic research of Angela Caporaso By Emanuele Gatti When you watching Angela Caporaso's works of this last years you can enter in a world that is free from every natural elements but not those which are lied to the physical of the human beings. Since 90's of the last millennium, the universe of this artist is pullulated by dismembered and reassembled bodies and when they're reformed they assume new works and meanings. Legs become flower stalks, eyes change into fishes, the berries-mouths magically sprout : '' The Flower of The War'' . This iconographic Characteristics connote as some collages exposed in Florence in 2002, for the ''Tondelli Imperfetti'', as the most part exposed in 1999 in Limatola for the vernissage ''Lemilleemily'' dedicated to Emily Dickinson. Body, especially the feminine body, becomes, once again, language and icon. It's a shattered body, hated and loved; reconstructed in an Alchemic way. It's a body In Transit, it is part of a false and sick universe, genetically modified. Human limbs do not move in a sane way but in an unnatural and macabre dance; a dance that hides apocalyptic calls of a humanity that reaches its end, to go on in its existence it only can subtract places to the creatures which live on the Earth, untill replace them, becoming animals and plants. In this unstopped decline, the artist takes a privileged look to the Sea - Her Sea, The Mediterranean sea- The first mother of every lives. Obviously it's an anomalous Sea, necessarily unreal, fiercely reconstructed: Mare Nostrum 2009. ''
