It is with a great sense of pride in TZO chapter accomplishments, the end of year report is presented: Operations & Service Held 10 Executive board meetings (January – December) Held 10 Chapter meetings (January – December) Hosted committee teleconferences (January – December) Kicked off Launching New Dimensions of Service at the January 3rd chapter meeting (January) Launched Anti – Basileus new service initiative, 50 Ways to Serve in 2015 (January) Celebrated the Golden Anniversary Founders’ Day (January) Participated in MLK events –Pink Carpet Night (Selma Showing), MLK Youth Summit- "Movement Your Time - All Lives Matter” Youth Summit, Women on Top, & Sunday Inspiration (January) Attended the Black History Discussion Forum hosted by Xi Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. & Moss Point Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Soror Taniya Smith, Health Committee Chairman, presented the Power to End Stroke and Mental Illness Awareness to the senior citizens at the Jackson County Civic Action Senior Center in Moss Point (May) Soror Avonne Polk did a presentation for teachers on stress release techniques during stressful situations in partnership with Mental Health Services. Standards Chairman, Alchar Jackson, conducted surveys for the 2015 Founders’ Day, Pink Goes Red Skate Night, and TIPA (January – June) Soror Barbara Thomas was appointed to the SERC Strategic Planning Committee (April) Sorors Bush and Thomas participated in the Strategic Planning webinar (May) Awarded (2) $500 scholarships and (4) $3000 scholarships (May) Awarded a $1000 Think HBCU scholarship to a HS graduate attending Tougaloo College (May) Attended Explosion of Excellence Scholarship Night (May) Participated in service project at Loaves and Fishes and Mount Olive Baptist Church during the Anniversary Weekend (May) Attended Moss Point High School Class Night (Soror Inez DeShields [Scholarship Chairman], Ja’Leasa Walden, and Angela Jupiter-McCon) and presented scholarships (May) Soror Loretta Jennings attended Moss Point High School Class Night and presented MS Scholars Awards (May) Basileus participated in Cluster Planning Meeting (May) The first group of ASCEND participants graduated from the program (June) Participated in Environmental Ownership at Soror Ja’Leasa’s job and at the June picnic (January – June)

Beatrix Scott and Ida L. Jackson in Vicksburg, MS (August) Sorors Angela Campbell, Barbara Irvin, Angela Jupiter—McCon, Schermonique Taylor, Stephanie Barnes Taylor, Ja’Leasa Walden, and Bonnie Washington attended the SERC Planning meeting (August) Soror Margaret Bush was appointed the 84th Sorors participated in the 10th Annual A Koastal Affair. Donated $500 to NAMI and $500 to The Mississippi—Africa University Partnership (October) Sorors observed Mental Health Awareness Week by wearing green (October) Soror Theresa Haynes, Global Impact Chairman, presented a USN-USA active learning activity to the Moss Point High School AP History Class with Sorors Inez DeShields, Angela Jupiter-McCon, and Evelyn Millender. The students played a Global Impact Jeopardy game designed by Soror Serena McCovery. Sorors Margaret Bush and Edith McCovery made gifts bags which contained a $10 gift card from McDonalds. Sorors attended the MS Statewide Cluster and donated supplies for 33 backpacks (October) Sorors Nicole Gines, Edwina Roland, and Angela Jupiter-McCon served on the Medial Alert Team (MAT) at the MS Statewide Cluster (October) Theta Zeta Omega Chapter Basileus, Soror Angela Jupiter-McCon, and Upsilon Chi Omega Chapter Basileus, Soror Jocelyn Gavin-Lane, teamed up to donate 40 bags containing personal hygiene items to the MS Gulf Coast V=Center for Non-Violence (October) Sorors Tenesha Batiste, Angela Campbell, Theresa Haynes, Angela JupiterMcCon, Evelyn Millender, Avonne Polk, Schermonique Taylor, and Carmen Walters volunteered at the Moss Point High School Concession Stand to help the MPHS Booster Club. A gift basket was also made for graduating Senior T.J. Gines, son of Soror Nicole Gines (October) Sorors participated in the NAMI walk in Jackson, MS and donated the $500 collected at A Koastal Affair, plus an additional $425 for $925 donation (November) Sorors Margaret Bush, Patricia Hall, Angela Jupiter-McCon, and Edith McCovery under the guidance of the Jackson County Senior Outreach Chairman, Soror Cathy Wells, participated in a Lunch and Learn at the Jackson County Senior’s Civic Center. Forty-five bags were made containing 10 environmentally friendly household items (Target 4 Environmental Ownership) (November) Sorors Margaret Bush, Edith McCovery, Evelyn Millender, under the guidance of the Harrison County Senior Outreach Chairman, Soror Barbara Thomas, participated in a Lunch and Learn at the Golden Corral. Soror Bush served as the guest speaker and spoke about Alzheimer's and Dementia (November) Sorors Angela Jupiter-McCon and Veronica Walker-Winters, under the direction of the Operation Deliver a Blessing Founder, Soror Angela Campbell, assisted the MPEUE Tiger Ambassadors and Zeta Phi Beta in packing and delivering Thanksgiving baskets to needy families in Jackson County. The chapter donated $200 for the purchase of turkeys (November) Sorors collected toys to be distributed to needy families in Jackson and

Harrison County. The chapter donated $500 for the purchase of toys. Sorors donated seasonal wraps to the Jackson County Exceptional School, under the guidance of Soror Edith McCovery.
