Daily our lives are jam packed and filled with noise, clutter, chaos, worries and stresses. Our minds are constantly sorting stuff and feeding us information but unlike our surroundings, it is not as easy to pick up the pieces and just put them away. Therefore, a process needs to be put in place to simplify the cleansing of the mind. Every day I go on a daily walk with my thoughts and spend time consciously thinking, breathing and enjoying nature. There are multiple benefits of clearing the mind, including less stress, better sleep and less distraction, yet the scars and old hurts are often left layered and built upon, taking conscious and unconscious space in the mind. Little changes can make a big difference and although it takes a little bit of practice, it is not difficult to learn to declutter your mind. Below are five tips on decluttering your mind 1.
