Commercial base mixes, such as those put together by Mainline, are designed for making frozen boilies, and attempting to manufacture your own shelf life bait is not something I’d advise. Mainline have made it as easy and as simple as possible to make your own freezer bait by producing Activators, which combine all the liquid attractors (flavours, sweeteners, etc.) in one bottle. Similarly, the base mix contains all the powdered ingredients in a bag. I hope this helps, and good luck. Matt Eaton.

BELOW Along with all my captures, this one was caught using frozen bait.
