SENSATION
My collection was inspired by a previous project where I took inspiration from classical dresses that had volume I found objects that fascinated me at the V&A , in particular a dress in the wedding exhibition which had volume in the sleeve and hips Using volume a woman’s silhouette would be exaggerated, sculptured and given a 3D circular shape For my collection I want women to look innocent , pure and sensitive. I want to make every woman feel unique , and bring back a classic style. The colour palette is white , representing innocence and purity, new beginnings, equality and unity Fabrics such as crepe , scuba or wool are good to work with to give the wanted shape and structure . For my collection I used scuba To give a the garments a delicate look or textures, silk fabrics such as chiffon or organza can be used. I select organza for my garments
