Our Credentials 6

Animus Creative | 2019

New, Yet Trusted Financial Investment As one of Dubai’s Newest financial capital firms, Berkeley Assets Capital had a wealth of experience in the UK and approached us to develop a brand that was fresh, memorable yet it felt like you new the logo. Working closely with the Berkeley Assets team, we carried out research to outline key aspects of the business and help develop a strategy for a new identity. Berkeley’s core values – investing less into intangibles and more in physical assets whilst offering greater support – became the foundation for the brand direction. The new branding incorporates a newly designed logotype and logo mark, website and printed collateral. We also directed the team portraits with Dubai-based photographer James Gildea.

Revitalising whilst maintaining trust Gaffney, Cline & Associates (GCA) is a global oil and gas consultancy that has been offering technical, commercial, and strategic advice to the oil and gas industry for more than 50 years. GCA was established in 1962 by two far-sighted oil industry insiders, Peter Gaffney and Ben Cline. These two pioneers could see that the petroleum industry needed energy consultants with broad skills and extensive experience to solve complex technical and business problems across the entire petroleum investment lifecycle. Trusted for it’s advice and service, GCA wanted to reevaluate it’s brand messaging and revitalise it’s identity. But with most of the team being long established in the field, they wanted to maintain this level of respect and modernise thier offering. We worked closely with the team to strike the right balance and produce a fresh yet familiar brand identity.

“We loved your insight and the ideas that helped us achieve exceptional results “

“I cannot express how pleased we are with the level of professionalism and results – but also the service and intelligence to assist with making the best choices for the design of various project that we worked with Animus on. Animus has truly exceeded all expectations and delivered a concept that are clean, eye-catching and above all understand our suite of Brands.

“Having worked with Matt for a number of years, I find that no matter what project we work on, we get constructive, insightful and interesting engagement with him throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Founder, Saba’s Kitchen

“It can be a huge challenge to create a personal Brand based on a vision whose purpose is to evoke a “feeling” in their audience. After spending significant time listening to and absorbing the message that I wanted to promote, Matt presented a Logo that I identified with the moment I set eyes on it. It blew me away. The striking design and choice of colours were a precise manifestation of my vision. It didn’t end there. Having wholly identified with the vision, Matt encouraged me to create a Brand Manifesto and core purpose to support the same. He took time to offer examples, gave me valuable feedback and constructive criticism. He coached me on the methods of gaining inspiration for writing these statements. I was “mentored” through the whole process. Matt’s skill set isn’t just limited to creating extraordinary Designs and Logos. He has a deep and profound understanding of his clients’ needs and expectations; a perception that is a rare find in a Brand Developer today. Anyone fortunate enough to be working with him will be at a significant advantage. I hope to be working with him, as my business grows, for as long as possible.” 28
