01.1 Packaging Introduction Ooredoo Devices are identified using a number of key brand elements. This section shows where and how to use them correctly. The information contained within provides a general guide to the types of device packaging styles available and where and how to use them, together with their layout and content. Please note that the enclosed concept provide a general guide for device and packaging branding, individual packaging formats will be developed using these principles. Product packaging should follow all the master brand rules as detailed in the Ooredoo Brand Book. Horizontal vs Stacked Logo use Although we have two versions of our Logo - linear or ‘Horizontal’ and vertical or ‘Stacked’ - their use is strictly controlled. The Primary Horizontal version of the logo should be used at all time. The Stacked should NOT be used ( any exceptional circumstances requiring use of the stacked logo requires prior Ooredoo Group Brand team approval.) Logo Cropping The Logo should never be cropped or elements of it used singularly. It should always be used whole and protected by a clear area around it as defined in these guidelines. Please refer to Section 02.3 Logo for more information on Logo use. Font use Please refer to Section 02.5 to 02.7 on Typography for more details on the Ooredoo font family and use. 02.1 General Guideline The following guidelines should be used as a template for creating product packaging for any Ooredoo branded products.

02.4 Secondary Colour Alternatives If there are several variants within a product line, some of the secondary colour palette gradients can be used with a white circle grid, as shown in the examples here. Always ensure that the chosen colour allows the primary red Ooredoo logo to standout clearly from the background gradient.

02.5 Blister Pack Example Some products may require the packaging to have a blister pack with a clear window, through which the product can be viewed. Opposite is an example of this.

02.6 Product Branding When branding a product, the Ooredoo logo should be applied clearly and at high quality. If we are branding a mobile phone handset, the logo should be in white or grey (not the primary red). In some markets use of the primary red logo is permissible. The logo should be subtle and elegantly positioned on the product and adhere to the Brand Book guidelines. For other products such as routers and MyFi adapters the logo may appear in primary red, with the letters of the logo in white. Please always ensure that the production quality is tested and approved by the Brand team.

Always use the original artwork this can be obtained from the brand team.

The mark can be incorporated within Ooredoo Device Packaging, or can be implemented on 3rd Party packaging systems. In instances where the Ooredoo Approved mark is produced as a sticker for manual application, please ensure the application has optimal visibility.

In some of our markets, the business may wish to place an Ooredoo Endorsement (identifier) that the specific devices are compatible with Ooredoo networks and services. In such instances the Ooredoo Approved Mark should be used.
