Concept design for NTPC Hydrogen fueling station.

TOWARDS GREEN MOBILITY

Concept The concept for the logo revolves around the HYDROGEN molecule and how two molecule bonds to form hydrogen gas. Symbolically the logo represents two hydrogen bonds joining with a single bond to forms an H. Iconic-ally 2 has been added to reinforce the Hydrogen gas molecule (H2)

Two Hydrogen molecules

Single bond

Combination of two hydrogen molecules makes the letter H form

Colours & Form The form of the logo is inspired from the original NTPC logo. It seemed advisable to follow a similar form as NTPC is the parent company and the subsidiaries should look like it’s a part of it. The slant is added to show movement which signifies movement towards future and makes the logo more dynamic and fresh. Adding green colour further reinforces that it is a clean fuel and is the future of transportation mobility.

TOWARDS GREEN MOBILITY

The Space I have also designed a fuel station using the visual identity and tried to reflect the values of the brand in the space as well. The main concept of the space is the central structure which is also derived out of combination of Hydrogen molecules to form H2. The central structure starts from the top as if two molecules are coming towards each other and as they go towards the ground they combine as the central space where the filling stations are situated. The whole station is designed to be a little futuristic while still maintaining current usage properties, meaning the layout and interaction remains similar to fuel stations nowadays but visually its slightly different. The fueling stations are situated centrally in a circular path to allow for a free flow of movement. The visual Identity is used throughout the space for easy recognition, and clear communication. It also reinforces it being a green fuel and allows access to a green pathway on the top accessible with stairs.
