Local Committee President's Address Over the past 6 months of AIESEC in Bangalore delivering experiences to all itsstakeholders and as we are moving to achieving more as an organization and building our entity that all of you all have contributed and have gained so much out of. Over the last quarter we have aimed to bring consolidation, structure and sustainability in interacting with the alumni. Also, we continue to lay onus on the overall strengths and support that Alumni bring to any organization. Moving ahead, we are entering into the last quarter of 2013, we are searching and implementing engagements with Alumni which are built to last over time. Alumni Engagement Avenues EXCHANGE PARTICIPANT: We are looking to facilitating social and technical internship experiences for recent alumni. INCOMING EXCHANGE CLIENTS: We are looking to work with organizations owned by or managed by or employing AIESEC alumni for our internship programs and external events [like Youth 2 Business forum, Roshni, et cetra]
LEARNING NETWORKS:
We believe that our alumni are the best way to bring in external knowledge into the LC. Through Lcong sessions, LCM sessions and participation in our events, we hope to impart the legacy and spirit of AIESEC and its impact of our alumni, to inspire the current membership and enhance their AIESEC experience.
MENTORING:
Through this Mentoring Program we hope to initiate a supportive learning relationship between an AIESECer and a Mentor that goes beyond the horizons of AIESEC to be a personal relationship.
AIESEC BANGALORE ALUMNI BOARD:
The AIESEC Bangalore Alumni board, the first of its kind in AIESEC India, is a step towards structuring alumni engagements and provide transitions to Alumni Relations every year.

AIESEC Bangalore Alumni Board Joint Board Meeting Date: 30th September Venue: AIESEC Bangalore office The first Joint Board Meeting of the AIESEC Bangalore Alumni Board was held of 30th September at the AIESEC Bangalore office. The Board was taken through a presentation of the LC’s current state and performance and suggested focus areas and work practices. The Board collectively ratified the Board Charter with a few changes. The Board’s participation in the next two quarters was also discussed.
SESSION BY P. JEYARATNAM:
Mr. P. Jeyaratnam is an AIESEC Singapore alumni and has been on the Board of AIESEC Singapore for 33 years. He is also the owner of S&J Asia- Pacific Ventures. Mr. P. Jeyaratnam delivered a session about his experiences in AIESEC and how he leveraged these experiences to start his professional career. This impromptu session was concluded with a Q&A session which threw light on Mr. P. Jeyaratnam’s experiences beyond AIESEC and general philosophy in life.
SESSION BY KSHITIJ SHARMA:
Mr. Kshitij Sharma is an AIESEC Jaipur alumni and the co-founder of Catalyst2Xcelerate. He is an internationally certified Success Coach and an accomplished leadership, management development and life skills trainer. The session, titled ‘I AM A LEADER’, was a short leadership developmentsession for the Managerial Body and was attended by 18 Team Leaders and 5 EB members. The session included several hands-on activities which demonstrated the points covered in the session. This left a very strong impact on the attendees through its simplicity and presentation.
ALUMNI STAKEHOLDER'S DINNER DATE - To be announced Annual Stakeholders Dinner is a pioneering AIESEC Bangalore event designed to connect with, recognize and reward our current partners and to build new partnerships. This will also be a platform to interact with AIESEC Members, International Interns, AIESEC Alumni, our Local and ALumni Board of Advisors and leaders from the business and social realm. Through Annual Stakeholders Dinner 2013, delegates and partners will get anopportunity to network with distinguished speakers and professionals from variouscorporate backgrounds. This event will help us assess the services we provide to our partners and define a scope of improvement.
