“Hidden Barcelona” investigates a little-known yet important dimension of contemporary city: the underground. It evaluates the problems and opportunities of subterranean spaces, studying their perception, morphology and design, to then delve into the case study of Barcelona and finally into the design of a three-dimensional public space in Plaça de les Glòries.
The new complex SubGlòries takes into account the underground dimension, intertwining visible and invisible
threads of the urban fabric.
