GNH, Gross National Happiness is the systemic approach to measuring and sustaining welfare that is the foundation of the Kingdom of Bhutan and that influences more and more countries, networks and businesses organizations around the world. It means that sustainable development should take a holistic approach to notions of progress and to give equal weight to the non-economic aspects of wellbeing expressed in totally nine domains: - Living standard/economy - Health - Education - Good governance & leadership - Ecological resilience - Inner wellbeing - Community vitality & participation - Cultural diversity - Time use
What is GNH Leadership? GNH Leadership is an advanced and exclusive one year transforming cocreative, multidimensional program based on the principles of GNH and with a global mindset.

GNH Leadership is based on a spirit of natural compassion and wisdom. This means that at the heart of every process we will cherish a tendency to clarify and thoroughly embrace complexity, while cultivating genuinely caring relations to ourselves, each other and to all of nature.

Contents & principles To a large extent the program will be co-created as we go, but there is a basic frame and a plan as well as models, tools
and theories of process. The frame is semi-permeable and changes in alignment with the participants. Together we continuously develop new transforming tools for society, business and self. The fixed principles for our curriculum are that it should be:

Criteria for application
The program has three blocks: individual (ego), context (etno) and global (eco). These blocks are not separately sequential, but rather they include and transcend each other, as follows:

organically growing (partly emerging as we go)
Note that both English and Swedish language will be used.
Start of the program The first round will start in January 2018, with an application process starting from August 2017.
Workshops
During 2017 we will open for workshops that will inform our curriculum for the first round of GNH Leadership. The first one will be in the end of January, followed by the next in February and so on. Contact us and we will keep you informed.
Four aspects of each block Each of the three blocks have these same basic aspects: ✦

Co-reative process During the whole year, the cocreative process will continue, so that the contents and eve the frame itself may be influenced for the next round of the program. The year before we will also have a cocreative process that informs the curriculum. This means that the program itself will run every second year. The year in between will be a period of workshops that renew the contents. In this way it will keep on emerging organically, while still keeping its inner core of basic principles intact.
Multi-dimensional transformation The process that informs the program is based on Theory U, in combination with GNH. Theory U means a transformational journey that starts with downloading what we already know, then opening the mind, heart and will in such a way that we end up in a spacious presence. From this empty space of awareness we allow for new patterns to arise and crystallize. When this process is combined with GNH, it may mean that we enter the process from the perspective of, say cultural diversity, but end up in the dimension of good governance. Many such processes are possible and may also occur simultanously. The same is true both for presencing (the lower loop) as for absenting (the upper loop).
