Gentlemen, Impress Your Lady Put Your Best Foot Forward!
By Elizabeth A. Davis, DPM
Men's health encompasses a comprehensive approach that includes caring for their feet. As a podiatrist, I observe how various foot conditions, ranging from acute injuries to chronic diseases, can significantly affect men's health
Gout, a type of inflammatory arthritis, frequently afflicts men due to factors like diet, genetics, and lifestyle choices. It presents as sudden and intense pain, swelling, and redness, commonly affecting the big toe. Managing gout involves dietary adjustments, medications to lower uric acid levels, and lifestyle modifications to prevent recurrent attacks.
Diabetes poses a significant threat to foot health, as it increases the risk of peripheral neuropathy and vascular complications. Men with diabetes must prioritize foot care to prevent ulcers, infections, and even amputations. Regular foot inspections, proper footwear, blood sugar control, and routine podiatric care are crucial in managing diabetic foot complications
In addition to chronic conditions, men are susceptible to acute foot injuries resulting from sports, physical activities, or workplace hazards. Sprains, fractures, and tendon injuries are commonplace, necessitating timely assessment and treatment to avert lasting repercussions.
As a podiatrist, I frequently address Achilles injuries, bunions, and hallux limitus in men. Achilles tendon issues often result from sports or repetitive stress, requiring targeted therapies for effective rehabilitation. Bunions, caused by structural abnormalities, can impair mobility and cause discomfort. Hallux limitus, a condition affecting big toe movement, necessitates proactive management to alleviate pain and maintain mobility. Tailored treatments are essential for treating these common foot ailments and restoring function.
By prioritizing foot care and addressing both acute injuries and chronic conditions, men can stride confidently towards a healthier, more active lifestyle. Remember, healthy feet are the cornerstone of a strong foundation for overall well-being

Revealing herself to the world as the Anxious Angel, Sally Sweets has taken on a mission far beyond her wildest dreams Some call it passion, some call it therapy, some may even go as far as to say that they were born for this; but not Sally! She believes that her leadership skills comes from the experiences and the struggles of her journey, and not something that she was born with.
”Head
Down Hustle Hard”
Slowing down is no option for the soulful singer, rapper and songwriter. She completed writing and recording her first album in less than 6 months, and immediately began working on her second album. Sally can't seem to slow down. She’s very persistent and determined to be different than the average person. The old school soul that she is thrives off not being your typical “ twerker,” but rather “head down and hustle hard.”
She believes that women should be valued and well respected Although she fully respects every Queen in the industry, she likes to think of herself as being different; standing strong as a 90's baby. She also believes in standing up against socially acceptable norms, domestic violence, anxiety and poverty. Her mission is strong; she’s always chanting "can't stop, won't stop!" She knows that one person can change the world
SWEET, SEXY SALLY

Sally is very active in the industry. Her career consist of modeling, television commercials, acting, lots of music and on-stage performances. She is ready to take on anything that comes her way. Recently she opened up for Boosie, DaBaby, Cassidy, Juelz Santana, Kia Jeffries, Jadakiss, Beanie Sigel, Trina and many more! Sally was born in New York and raised in Florida. Her plans are to represent everyone from near and far. However; “she will always stand loud and proud for the 941area code.”
Sally is an independent artist; she produces her own music. She is also a vocalist for Faces of Rap Mothers with Capitol Records Faces of Rap Mothers is a worldwide talented music group, that’s filled with Rap and Hip Hops most iconic stars. They are now airing twice a day in about eighty countries, and can be seen and heard on many platforms, and radio stations all over the country. The Cover: What things do you enjoy when you are not performing?
Sally: I love the outdoors; running is therapy for me. I enjoy reading, dancing, listening to music of all genres. In my spare time you can find me on the beach enjoying the sun, the water and nature.
The Cover: What’s next for Sally Sweets?
Sally: I recently started my own LLC. I will continue to grow, plant my seeds, and take on Torres season after season! I am truly being recognized as “Miss All Gas No Brakes,” I will stay focused and remain on my mission. I can't see anything slowing down this light from shining bright.

ARTHUR MUHAMMAD
Movie Director, Writer and Author
” TWELVE” is further proof that Muhammad’s creativity knows no bounds. He has written, produced, and directed a variety of features in drama, rom-com, faith, and more, all while generating a prolific collection of popular features. His filmography includes Carter High (starring Charles S. Dutton, Vivica A. Fox, Pooch Hall, Reginald C. Hayes, David Banner), First Impression (starring Lamman Rucker, Lisa Arrindell, Carl Anthony Payne II, David Mann, Tamela J. Mann and Elise Neal), Solitaire, Sweet Justice, The Lil Voice, Gutta Mamis, and The Starter Marriage.
A family gathering turns into an eerie game of confession in the new comedy thriller “TWELVE” by writer and director Arthur Muhammad. Following the death of the family patriarch Pops, played by TED LANGE (The Love Boat), the family returns home and decides to take comfort in the age-old tradition of playing dominoes as they fondly reminisce about Pops The game takes a turn when unbeknownst to them, they become trapped in the house and won’t be able to escape until long hidden family secrets are brought to light
L-R: The Cast; Center: Authur Muhammad and Veteran Actor, Ted Lang
“The number twelve represents a lot of things in the movie,” explains Muhammad. “The game of dominoes begins with the number twelve or laying down of the big six. The history of dominoes is also very interesting as they were originally made from animal bones, thus the nickname for the game “bones.” So, the metaphor of bones is prevalent throughout the film as the skeletons start coming out of the closet.”

Murphy said "This is one of the memories that he’ll cherish for the rest of his life you know, that wasn’t acceptable to me, so I felt a need to give him a second prom and just hope and pray that all of the kids come out.”
In just 3 days Murphy along with the community support, and Memphis Shelby-County Board Chair, Althea Green made Roderick Johnson’s prom dream a success.
