After enduring anorexia nervosa for 9 years, followed by chronic fatigue, debilitating migraines, depersonalisation, suicidal depression, OCD, and tremendous fear found JL, lining up the tablets. Her motivation to fight was her two children.

her, dreams informed her, intuition grew in strength, and eventually, a story lined with the impact of sexual abuse, family betrayal, and lies delivered solutions.

Recovery unfolded. Acquired knowledge born from the power of understanding now supports her life and business.

Using walls to walk, against the odds, this mother persisted in sourcing answers. Meeting the person who asked that pivotal question, "tell me your story", was the turnaround moment JL so needed. By answering this questions, JL explored her life events and story which contributed to her downfall into mental illnesses which, up until this time, appeared to have no ‘out’.

Exploring thought patterns, behaviours, emotions, and physical symptoms, provided a wealth of information to draw from. Clues found to learn from. Sheer and utter strength and determination, make her a powerhouse of guidance.

Her speaking ability transforms listeners and educates all those who cross her path. This award recognition, allows the opportunity for her message to be heard, so others may find their inner strength and empower their lives as she has done. When a story of heartbreak meets triumph and transcends into an empowering message of hope which is underpinned by workable foundations and frameworks, this is good news. This is the healing gift that JL now gives.

Drawn from understanding her own experiences, she now nudges society to seek answers and solutions around why we hurt. JL's most significant discovery - relationships are key! A survivor, a leader and certainly a worthy recipient, of a Woman in Advocacy.
