Anointed Fire Magazine Writer Interview Anointed Fire is blessed to have you as a writer. 1. What prompted you to want to write for Anointed Fire Magazine? Answer: Anointed Fire is a magazine aimed to uplift the Kingdom of God by ministering to many in various categories. That is also my goal, to serve my Father by ministering to those willing to listen. 2. As a writer, what do you want to bring to Anointed Fire Magazine? Answer: All of the writers of Anointed Fire is blessed with a ministry to lead those that’s lost on the straight and narrow path, however, God blessed us certain areas to minister people in. 3. Most of the writers have separate active ministries. Do you have a ministry and if so, what is its name? Answer: No. 4. If you can say that you are passionate about 'anything' or any form of outreach in relation to your walk in CHRIST, what would that be? Answer: I have a passion toward teaching the word of God to mentally ill people, informing them of the many tricks the enemy has after them, one of those tricks being trying to seek and destroy them before they learn the truth about God. With mental illness being one of the many attacks the enemy uses against people, God has been using me to minister in this area. 5. What, in your opinion, has been or will be the best part in writing for Anointed Fire? Answer: If the article God lead me to write converts someone to Christ, that will be the best part in writing for Anointed Fire. 6. What are your hobbies? Answer: I enjoy singing gospel and collecting movies. 7. Please share any other information that you would like readers to know about you, including your biography, family information, ministry information, etc. Answer: Ms. Earlean Howard Johnson was born in Greenville Mississippi on July 4, 1977 to Mattie Lee Davis and Sylvester Howard. At an early age of eight, Ms. Johnson accepted the Lord as her savior and was baptized at St. Peter Rock Baptist Church in 1985. In 1987, Ms. Johnson mothers died from the act of domestic violence. This incident brought Ms. Johnson closer to God which she dedicated her talent of singing toward praising God, by becoming one of the lead singers of a gospel group The Davis Family, church choir St. Peter Rock Choir, community choir Metcalfe Youth Mass Choir, and gospel
group Sensational Voices. After the death of her mother, she and her sibling were raised by their maternal grandmother who constantly taught her about God. In 1995, her grandmother died at the age of 83 from injuries of a car accident. Ms. Johnson continued to put her faith in God and in 1996; she graduated from OBannon High School. After the completion of high school, she started a journey toward furthering her education by temporary attending Mississippi Delta Community College. During the first semester, she received the joyous news of her first pregnancy. She later gave birth to her son on May 29, 1997, and later the birth of her daughter in 2001. September 5, 2002, she married the father of her children, however; the marriage ended in 2007 from the result of unevenly yoke. As a single mother of two children, Ms. Johnson realized that it takes a positive role model to help lead children on the right path in today's society. She started a new journey toward furthering her education by first attending Southwest Community College in Memphis Tennessee, and later transferred to Mississippi Valley State University where she obtained a Bachelor degree in Social Work. She later furthers her education with University of Phoenix where she graduated with her Masters of Science in Psychology. She has always has the passion of helping others by providing spiritual guidance, listening, and researching resources to help others. God has allowed a gift she was blessed with to become her career. Ms. Johnson is currently a Case Manager II at Delta Community Mental Health Center in Greenville Mississippi. Her responsibilities as a Case Manager II is to assist potential clients with becoming stable in his or her environment by linking clients to resources, educating client about his or her psychological diagnosis, advocacy, educating, and assisting the client with meeting the minimal functional capacity.
