No Bread Alone By Raquel Glover We all at one point in time can say that we have been caught up in the rat race which is life. We have jobs, businesses, families, all sorts of things that shape and mold us. However what are you allowing into your temple? What are you consuming on a day to day basis that is supposed to be satisfying your hunger? The Word says in Matthew 4:4, "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." I believe it is safe to say that God has clearly said we cannot just it bread. My revelation to you is this. No man can live off of fast food and microwave meals alone as well. God has created Man so wonderfully that He says Our bodies are to be our temple, "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Well how do I start to glorify God in my temple? Simply be more conscious what you eat and how you eat it. My goal is to take you on a journey with food that will impact your life in a positive way. Food should be enjoyable but it should not be an answer for everything. Food has become the center of attention for Celebrations, disappointments, and just because moments.
