The palace of Versailles was built in the 17th century. The original architect on the project was Jacques Lemercier. Construction took 18 years. The palace was originally built to be a hunting lodge. It is famous for being the center of the court in France, and housing many kings, and famous political leaders. This museum was built because Francis 1 had a wonderful art collection and needed somewhere to put his art but over the years they just kept adding on to it. It makes it famous because of all the old wonderful art, it is also the biggest art museum in the world home to the Mona Lisa.

Francis 1, started building this wonderful museum when he was collecting art in 1546. It is located in Paris France. This wonderful art museum took almost 700 years to convert it in to what it is today.

The Panthéon is a mausoleum used to house the remains of famous french citizens Located in latin quarter of Paris. Began to be buitl in 1764, and was finished in 1790 Took 26 years to build. Designed by renowned French architect JacquesGermain Soufflot. Soufflot designed building in neo-classical style. Monument was dedicated to Sainte-Geneviève as a thanks to God from King Louis XV for him recovering unexpectedly quickly from an illness.

The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889. It was built by Gustave Eiffel and his company. It is located in Paris, France It took 2 years 5 months and 5 days to build. It was built to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the french revolution. At the time it was the largest building in the world, and became a known monument around the world, and a special centerpiece of France.

Musee D’orsay The Musée d'Orsay is a famous museum in Paris, France, on the Left Bank of the Seine. It is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station. Musee d’orsay was built in 1848. It is located in 1ule de la legion d’honneur – 7500 Paris France.

In general it was built by an act architecture group, individually it was built and design by Gae Aulenti. Gae Aulenti was a prolific Italian architect, whose work spans industrial and exhibition design, furniture, graphics, stage design, lighting, and interior design.
