TUESDAY
MONDAY 30 Days to Financial Fitness Monthly interactive and open discussion on how the economy works, how loans and credit work, current events, why people should invest, as well as topics that clients would like to discuss. A counselor will be present to address facts and correct misinformed ideas as well as facilitate the discussions. Anger Management Learn to manage anger better by identify anger cues and triggers. Learn to identify negative thoughts, create positive thinking and identify techniques to reduce stress. Basic German Class Join us each Monday to learn some basic German to use while traveling, shopping, small talk or visiting the doctor. Coupon Clippers A monthly meeting open to community members to sort coupons, discuss money saving tips, share recipes, and other best practices. It’s all about food and money! Culture College A 2-day program for new Soldiers to assist in their transition to Germany. Learn about the services offered on post, talk about German culture and customs, learn how to use public transportation, and speak a little German. EFMP & SFAC Bowling A fun night to provide the EFMP community members a zero cost recreational and cultural opportunity.
EFMP learning Lunches Provides an informal platform for the EFMP Community to meet and discuss EFMP related issues and concerns. Learning Lunch topics will follow the modules in the DoD Special Needs Parent Tool Kit. First Term Financial Readiness Mandatory Financial Readiness Training for First Term Soldiers within their first 90 days in Germany. Germany by Rail Learn to use the German rail system and join us for a day trip to one of the historical towns surrounding U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach. Hearts Apart To engage community members whose spouses are deployed, TDY, or in Training to increase self reliance, learn new skills, and gain a new perspective military life. Investing in Your Future Monthly interactive and open discussion with financial topics being generated by the audience. Counselor will be present to address facts and correct misinformed ideas as well as facilitate the discussions. Labor and Delivery Join New Parent Support to learn all there is to know about having a baby in Germany and have your questions answered about what to expect when you’re expecting. Mommy and Daddy Baby Basics Class For expectant parents to learn the basics of caring for an infant during the first year of their life.
Toddler Networking An interactive and open discussion with planned topics related to toddlers.
Newcomers Orientation Welcome to all newcomers–Service Members, Civilians and Family Members–This 3-day orientation will provide information on services within the Community, cultural information and how to use public transportation.
Unit Sponsorship Training Designed to provide assistance to sponsors with available resources, information, and support to help them be SUPER Sponsors to newcomers in our garrison.
Purple and White Night A community event centered around domestic violence awareness and prevention. Activities include a guest speaker, performance by the Terrance Playhouse and light refreshments.
ScreamFree Parenting This principle-based approach inspires parents to truly revolutionize their Families. Moving beyond many of the child-centered, technique-based approaches, the ScreamFree way compels you to focus on yourself and calm yourself down. Stress Management EVERYONE has stress. Let’s learn how to deal with it! Learn to identify stressors, how to manage them, and keep them from turning into anger and projecting towards others.
