Providing comprehensive, coordinated and

Family Assistance Center (FAC)

FAC Centers operate 24/7 and are established by garrison commanders under the auspices of ACS in response to deployments, natural disasters or catastrophic events to assist Soldiers and Family members with basic services. Other agencies may be asked to participate in the FAC as local needs dictate. The National Guard operates FACs for Families who are geographically dispersed and located in remote sites.

Soldier and Family Assistance Center (SFAC)

SFAC provides customized integrated support services dedicated to serving Warriors in Transition (WTs) and their Families. The SFAC uses a “one-stop shop” approach to equip and aid Warriors in making life changing decisions as they transition either back to duty or to civilian life. SFAC staff realize individual needs require individual attention and strive to provide tailored, compassionate, and coordinated services. These services are offered in a warm, relaxed environment where Soldiers and their Families can gather to foster physical, spiritual and mental healing.

Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) A multi-agency approach which embraces and reassures survivors that they are continually linked to the Army Family for as long as they desire. SOS fosters resiliency and ensures access to all entitled benefits, financial counseling/planning and long term support.

Sexual Harrassment/ Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP)

The Army’s Sexual Harassment/Assault Resonse and Prevention (SHARP) program exists so the Army can prevent sexual harassment and sexual assaults before they occur. Our goal is to eliminate sexual assaults and sexual harassment by creating a climate that respects the dignity of every member of the Army Family.

Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)

Employment Readiness Program (ERP)

A mandatory enrollment program that works with other military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive and coordinated community support, housing, educational, medical, personnel, and respite care services to Families with special needs. Programs include: • Community Support Meetings • EFMP Bowling • Respite Care • EFMP/SFAC Movies

Family Advocacy Program (FAP)

The Army FAP is committed to preventing domestic violence and child abuse and neglect by providing a variety of services to strengthen Army Families and enhance resiliency. The FAP includes prevention, identification, reporting, investigation, and treatment in support of Soldiers and Families.

New Parent Support Program (NPSP)

Provides professional social workers and nurses who offer supportive and caring services to military Families with children from birth to three years of age. Through a variety of programs including home visits and parenting classes, the NPSP provides opportunities to learn to cope with stress, isolation, post-deployment, reunions and the everyday demands of parenthood. The program is committed to developing strong Army Families, and the prevention and treatment of Family violence. Its coordinated efforts are designed to prevent and intervene in cases of Family distress and to promote healthy Family life.

Victim Advocacy

Provides 24/7 services for victims of domestic violence. Victims have access to emergency assistance, information, referrals, and ongoing support in accessing medical, behavioral health, legal, and law enforcement services on and off garrisons. Available for both restricted and unrestricted reports.

Prevention Education

Promotes community support and encourages early referral. Components include: Commander Education, Troop Education, Education for Professionals, Parent Education and Support, Safety Education (protecting children, listening to and talking to children, child abuse prevention techniques, and a variety of safety related topics including but not limited to bullying and exploitation) geared towards children, Spouse Abuse Prevention, Victim Advocacy Services and Family Life Education.

Transitional Compensation (TC) Program for Abused Dependents A congressionally-mandated program for abused dependents of military personnel. Legislation authorizes temporary payments for Families in which the active duty Soldier has been separated administratively or by court-martial for a dependent-abuse offense. The TC Program offers benefits and entitlements for 12-36 months to eligible Family mem-

bers. During this benefit period, beneficiaries are provided temporary financial compensation and are eligible to receive medical care, including behavioral health services such as TRICARE beneficiaries. Recipients will also have commissary and exchange privileges during this period.

Provides employment assistance to active duty, reserve component, transitioning and retired Soldiers, Family members, and DoD Civilian employees in acquiring skills, networks, and resources that will allow them to participate in the work force and develop a career/work plan.

Military Spouse Employment Partnership Program (MSEP)

A self-sustaining and expanding partnership between the U.S. Army and Corporate America. The partnership provides Army spouses the opportunity to attain financial security and achieve employment/career goals through mobility and enhanced employment options. MSEP is a core component of the Employment Readiness Program to enhance and develop employment opportunities for spouses.

Relocation Readiness Program (RRP)

Relocation Readiness assistance is provided to Soldiers and Families to help reduce or eliminate problems arising due to frequent moves. Specialized programs and services include: individual or group counseling, sponsorship and pre-arrival information, mandatory overseas briefings and post-move orientations, lending closet services, Military Homefront web-pages on DoD website, Citizenship Immigration Services, multi-cultural programs, and “Hearts Apart” activities for waiting Families. Garrison commanders chair multi-disciplinary Relocation Assistance Coordinating Committees (RACC) to stay abreast of issues and remedy emerging concerns.

Financial Readiness Program (FRP)

Provides comprehensive educational and counseling programs in personal financial readiness. The program covers indebtedness, consumer advocacy and protection, money management, credit, financial planning, insurance and consumer issues. Other services offered are mandatory financial readiness training for first-termers, and financial counseling for deployed Soldiers and their Families.

Army Emergency Relief (AER)

Provides assistance for unexpected and financial stress to include: travel, housing, car repair, utilities, medical expenses, funeral costs, family member dental care, basic furniture needs, rental and replacement vehicles and disaster relief. AER is offered as part of the continuum of services in financial readiness.

A grassroots, Army-wide initiative to identify and prioritize issues to enhance standards of living for the total Army Family.

Army Family Team Building (AFTB)

A Family training and readiness program that provides participants with an understanding of Army culture and the skills and resources they need to become self-reliant, self-sufficient members of the military community.

Army Volunteer Corps (AVC)

Unites all volunteers and organizations using volunteers and strengthens volunteerism by enhancing the career and mobility of volunteers, establishing partnerships and promoting a life-long commitment to service. This, in turn, assists in maintaining readiness, sustaining communities and enriching lives throughout the Army.

This is a needs based scholarship program established to assist children of Army Soldiers in obtaining a 4-year undergraduate degree. Applicants must apply each year and may receive assistance for up to four academic years.

Army Community Service MOB I LI Z A TI ON & DEVELO PMENT Military Family Life Consultants (MFLC)

A key outreach service to Soldiers and Families. Enhanced community Family support services by offering licensed clinical social workers and psychologists to address various issues that Soldiers and Families face before and after deployment. Mobilization and Deployment Readiness Program (MOB/DEP)

Includes program and support activities designed to assist leaders at all levels and Soldiers and their Families to successfully manage the challenges of mobilization and deployments before, during and after they occur.

Operation R.E.A.D.Y. (Resources for Educating About Deployment and You)

Standardized training curriculum used by the MOB/DEP program and designed to prepare leaders, Soldiers, deployed Civilians, and Families for the personal and Family demands of the deployment cycle.

C OMMU NI T Y I NFO R MATIO N Army OneSource (AOS)

A network of services available to Soldiers and their Families regardless of their component or geographical location. Key players work in strategic partnerships to extend and expand support to those identified within the Soldier Family Action Plan and the Army Family Covenant, namely the geographically dispersed. Partnerships with sister services increase and sustain support to those not living near a garrison. Army Soldiers and Family members may access programs and services in three ways: Traditional brick and mortar establishments at garrisons, a webbased portal, and partnerships with local community and government organizations.

Information, Referral & Follow-up (IR&F)

Strives to provide Soldiers and Families with timely, comprehensive information on both military and community resources that will assist in meeting basic needs and improve quality of life. This program is sometimes abbreviated as the “I, R & F” program.

Master Resiliency Training (MRT)

This training replaces Battlemind Training and offers strength-based, positive psychology tools to aid Soldiers, Leaders and Families in their ability to grow and thrive in the face of challenges and bounce back from adversity. Family Resilience Training trains the Soldiers’ Families in preparing for and managing the realities of deployment and the transition back home. Operational Resilience trains Soldiers and Leaders in preparing for and managing the realities of deployment and the transition back home.

One Stop Childrenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Shop Child, Youth & School Services

Child Care: A variety of options U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach Child, Youth & School Services (CYS Services) programs are designed to help children and youth build within themselves a positive self-concept that will help develop them into productive caring adults. We provide safe, healthy and stimulating environments where children and youth feel accepted and respected, as well as having the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate developmental activities. We strive to provide a place where they can safely express their feelings without withdrawing, fighting or giving up their rights. Children and youth are free to make choices and accept responsibility for those choices through character building education that will develop and nurture a spirit of cooperation, creative problem solving and individual responsibility.

Storck Child Development and School Age Center

Katterbach Child Development and School Age Center

The Storck Child Development and School Age Center combines five CYS Services facilities into two buildings, providing the community with a one-stop-shop for all their CYS Services needs. It is approximately 16,145 square feet with an additional 130,680 square feet of outdoor space which includes nine activity rooms and three playgrounds. The two buildings (6706 and 6707) house full time and part time care, after school activities, seasonal camps, sports, and registration opportunities for children 6 weeks to 18 years. Building 6706 is home to the Storck Youth Center and Parent Central Services, our one stop shop for CYS Services registration and enrollment. The larger building (6707) serves as the Child Development and School Age Center, caring for children from 6 weeks through 5th grade. The building provides seven rooms and three playgrounds. The School Age Center wing has three activity rooms and access to an outdoor play area and adjacent ball fields. We have a capacity for 102 childcare spaces for children 6 weeks to 5 years plus 30 spaces for school age children for full time, part time, before and after school, and hourly services Our Child Development Center (CDC) was awarded national accredidation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children until February 1, 2018. The Storck School Age Center (SAC) was awarded national Accredidation until November 30, 2015.

The Katterbach Child Development and School Age Center combines two facilities into one building in a 36,000 square feet facility for children from 6 weeks through 5th grade. The facility includes a total of 126 child care spaces for children 6 weeks to 5 years, with 105 spaces for school-age children. There are eight activity rooms for the child development children and 4 rooms for the school age children with four playgrounds designed specifically for each age group as well as a soccer field. Building 9028 offers full time and part time care, after school activities, seasonal camps, and registration opportunities for children 6 weeks to 5th grades. There is also with a large commercial kitchen, staff training room and lounge and administrative offices. Our Child Development Center was awarded national accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children until May 1, 2018. The Katterbach School Age Center was awarded national Accreditation until November 30, 2015 by the Council on Accreditation.

Child Development Centers 6 weeks to 5 years (Kindergarten)* We offer full-day, part-day and hourly care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. CDC programs provide rich and stimulating environments in which children develop motor, cognitive, social and emotional skills through a balance of exploration and planned curriculum. Learning activities are designed to support the natural development of children and include individual, small group, and large group experiences. Our mission is to enhance the readiness and well being of the workforce and their families by providing predictable, affordable, and quality programs and services for children.

Full Day Care

The CDCs operate a full day program for children 6 weeks through age 5. Multiage classrooms provide children opportunities to develop relationships with the teachers and their peers and create a foundation for life-long learning.

Part Time Care

The CDCs offer part time care on a space available basis. Part time care may be offered 4 to 5 hours per day.

Part Day Preschool

This program is designed to meet development needs of children ages 3-5 years and help them build a strong foundation for future learning. Currently, we offer: 5 Day Session, Monday-Friday, and 3 Day Session, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All sessions meet from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and follow the DoDDS calendar.

Strong Beginnings

This program provides a variety of activities to assist children with school readiness. Emphasis is placed on technology, the arts, physical development (including both gross motor and fine motor development), math, science and literacy. It also offers children an opportunity to socialize with other children while building readiness skills for school. All sessions meet from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and follow the DoDDS calendar.

Hourly Care

This program offers short term child care for children 6 weeks through 5 years. Reservations are required and may be made in advance. Same day appointments are welcome. Hourly care is available on a space available basis. * Available at select communities and depending on school configuration

IMCOM-Europe CYS Services programs are essential family programs that directly support the military lifestyle and reduce the conflict between parental responsibilities and the unit mission requirements.

Family Child Care (FCC) 4 weeks to Grades 5*

School Age Centers Grades 1 to 5*

Army Family Child Care (FCC) is available both on-post and in government leased housing by trained childcare providers who work as home-based independent contractors for CYS Services. FCC Homes provide full-day, part-day and hourly care for children in a home environment. Why choose FCC? FCC Providers: • Pass stringent background checks and inspections • Receive intensive training and support • Are regularly visited and undergo scheduled and surprise inspections FCC Homes: • Offer programs designed to help prepare your child for school • Provide flexible hours to meet parent’s needs • Offer a comfortable family setting • Allow siblings to stay together • Allow younger and older children to learn from each other • Allow school-age children to remain in a neighborhood setting • Offer full-day, part-day or hourly options • May include 24-hour and long term care, evening and weekend care during TDY or short-term parental absences Army FCC On-Line will connect you to the Family Child Care Office at the Army installation of your choice. Parent Central Services staff will issue you a password when you register. * Available at select communities and depending on school configuration

Our Katterbach and Storck Centers offer before and after school care for 1st through 5th graders during the week from 5:45-8 a.m. and from 2:30-6 p.m. Hourly services are available from 5:45 a.m.5:30 p.m. Reservations for hourly care or occasional care are required in advance and made directly at the program. Coordination for bus pick-up must be made by the parent if the service is needed. Through partnerships with 4-H, Character Counts, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, SAC provides opportunities for children to grow as individuals and learn vital social skills. We provide physical activity in our gyms, arts & crafts, technology based learning, clubs and homework assistance daily. Transportation is provided to and from school. Care is also provided on early release days and school out days at no extra cost for children enrolled in a before and/ or after school program. Breakfast and snack are provided on regular school days, lunch is provided during full day outs. Seasonal Camps Camps will include different themes, sports & fitness challenges, arts & crafts activities, technology projects, clubs, and field trips. Eligibility is based on the grade participants have just completed—not the grade the child will enter in the fall for the next school year. Camp fees will be charged by the week in accordance with DoD fee policy guidance. All fees must be paid prior to utilizing the service.

CDC and SAC Accreditation

Accreditation is an activity, not a status. The benefits of accreditation are the external mark of quality, high standards and school improvement process and support. CYS Services programs undergo a rigorous accreditation process. The Child Development Centers and School Age Centers are fully accredited programs through: (1) National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC): CYS Services has been mandated to obtain this accreditation system: NAEYC sets professional standards for early childhood education programs, and helps families identify high-quality programs for their young children. (2) National After-School Age Alliance for School Age Services - The Council on Accreditation (COA) - Afterschool Program Standards include After School Administration (ASP-AM), After School Human Resources (ASP-HR), and After School Programming and Services (ASP-PS). The Administration Standards cover practices related to continuous quality improvement, financial management, risk prevention and management and ethical practice. The Human Resources Standards address recruitment and selection, training and professional development, support, and supervision. The Programming and Services Standards set forth additional recommended practices for working with children and youth in out-ofschool time. * Available at select communities and depending on school configuration

Support Services Parent & Outreach Services

School Liaison Office Know your SLO! School Liaison Officers help Families communicate with school districts and schools regarding education issues (to include school personnel understanding the impact of deployment stress on military students), provide transition support, and link students and Families to education and post-secondary resources.

These initiatives prepare schools and installations to respond confidently to the complexities of transitions, and provide families the assurance that their children’s academic well being is a priority.

Goals

The goals of the program are to identify barriers to academic success and develop solutions; promote parental involvement in their children’s education; develop and coordinate Army partnerships in education; provide parents with the tools they need to overcome obstacles to education that stem from the military lifestyle; and to promote and educate local communities and schools regarding the needs of military children.

Parent & Outreach Services connects Families to CYS Services programs through Parent Central Services, Special Needs Accommodations Process (SNAP), Babysitter Referral Services, In and Out Processing, Alternate Child Care: Kids On Site! (KOS) and Volunteer Child Care in a Unit Setting (VCCUS), Parents’ Night Out, Parents’ Day Out, Parent Participation Plan and Special Openings.

Parent Education

CYS Services offers a variety of parental education classes to improve your parenting skills. Classes are offered through CYS Services, ACS, and Military family life consultants and include classes ranging from Child Abuse Prevention, to Anger Management, to Budgeting for Baby. Parent Participation Points

By participating in your child’s CYSS program(s) you can receive up to 10% off your child care fees per month. Participation can include; reading to your child’s class, chaperoning a field trip, repairing CYSS facilities or equipment, attending a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meeting and much more. For more information about Parent Participation Plan/Points, ask your child’s program director.

Youth Centers Parent Advisory Council

Want to make a difference in your installation’s CYS Services? Do you have input or ideas to improve; child care, SKIES Unlimited classes, Sports, Hourly Care, etc...? Want to act as a parent liaison to the Garrison for CYS Services? Then join the PAC. We’re looking for parents interested in getting involved! We need a PAC board! You can volunteer as a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer or just be a Board Member. As an added bonus, PAC members can earn double Parent Participation Points for participating in PAC meetings, while Board Members can earn up to TRIPLE points! Earn just ten Parent Participation Points and receive 10% off your child care fees. So make a difference in the garrison, help improve services and make a child smile

The Youth Center after school open recreation program is free to eligible youth in grades 6-12. Through formal partnerships with nationally-recognized, youth-serving organizations such as 4-H and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) youth have access to programs, standardized curricula, special events, camps, scholarships and more. Youth who are in the 5th grade are not eligible for enrollment in the Army Middle School Program regardless of school configuration. A wide variety of activities are available and may include “lock ins”, dances, field trips, board games, cooking, photography or just relaxing and hanging out with friends. Each Youth Center offers state of the art computer and homework labs which utilize software and the internet safely and effectively. There is something for everyone!

Torch Clubs are chartered small-group leadership development program for ages 11-13. Members work to create and implement community service projects.

Keystone Club

Keystone Clubs are chartered small-group for boys and girls 14 to 18 years. Keystone Club promotes character and leadership among Club teens to provide impact in three areas: academic success, career preparation and community service.

Smart Moves Program

(SKILLS MASTERY AND RESISTANCE TRAINING) This nationally acclaimed comprehensive prevention program helps young people resist alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, as well as premature sexual activity.

Camps

The Youth Center also offers a variety of camp programs during the winter, spring, and summer. Youth can explore with local field trips, sports clinics, shopping and adventure trips, tech projects and more. Eligibility is based on the grade participants have just completed—not the grade the child will enter in the fall for the next school year. Camp fees will be charged at the time of registration.

What to bring to register

Bring the following forms and information to your Parent Central Services or call and make an appointment. Our expert staff will complete your registration electronically and issue your registration card and password for WebTrac. Medical Action Plans (MAPS). Only needed if a child is diagnosed with allergies, seasonal allergies, diabetes, asthma/respiratory, or seizures that require staff to give rescue medication.

The following must be turned in within 30 days of registration: • CYS Services Child Health Assessment/ Sports Physical AE Form 608-101A, Parts A, B & C. Form must be completed, stamped and signed by a physician and signed by the parent. Turn in completed form within 30 days of registration or registration renewal. • Family Care Plan DA Form 5305. Get involved! Volunteer! CYS Services is always looking for individuals interested in volunteering. Volunteering is not only a great way to enhance your resume, but also improves your knowledge and skills. As a volunteer with CYS Services, you may be eligible for a variety of discounts. One of the key elements of quality programs for children is a strong parent/program partnership. CYS Services believes that open, continuous parent/staff communication is vitally linked to the success of our programs, so you are encouraged to share your comments and ideas.

Child Care Fee Reductions

Parents may earn a Fee Reduction for volunteering a minimum of 10 hours in a regularly scheduled child care or school age program their child is enrolled in or in a program of their choosing. Parent Participation Points (PPP) may be accumulated from month to month until the Parent earns 10 points thus becoming eligible to receive a 10% reduction on one month’s fee for one child. If a parent has earned 20 points, the 10% fee reduction may be applied for one child over a 2 month period or used toward two individual children during the same month.

Some fun ways parents can get involved and earn points: • Attend our quarterly Parent Advisory Council meetings • Assist with our internal program evaluations • Plan or conduct a Parent Education Class • Help with activities for the Month of the Military child • Pack and box items for deployment boxes • Record books for MP3 players • Visit the classrooms or Family Child Care Home and do a special project with the children • Sew smocks, quilts or make decorations for staff and classrooms

Applications to volunteer are available at Parent Central Services. All applicants are required to enroll with Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS, see page 49), successfully pass background checks and complete Child Abuse identification and Reporting training. In addition, all coaches must complete CPR and First Aid training and complete the National Youth Sports Coaches Association certification, before being accepted as a coach. Certified coaches are required to adhere to the Coach Code of Ethics contained in the coach packet. Youth Sports Coach Fee Reductions apply only to the coach’s own children during the same season they volunteer to coach, Volunteer Head Coaches may enroll: • All of their children at no cost in any Category A or B sport. • One child at no cost in the same Category C sport they are coaching. Subsequent children in this Category C sport receive a 15 percent reduction. Subsequent children in Category A or B sports are at no cost. Volunteer Assistant Volunteer Coaches may enroll: • One child at no cost in any Category A or B sport. • One child at a 25 percent reduction in a Category C sport when the parent is coaching the same sport. Subsequent children receive a 15 percent reduction in any Category A, B, or C sport.

Army Recreation Machine Program

Be a part of your community by attending or even volunteering for the many special events hosted throughout the year. Bring along your neighbor or friend to get involved.

The Army Recreation Machine Program (ARMP) is a government program delivering adult gaming entertainment at your local bowling centers as well as wireless internet opportunities at your Libraries, BOSS centers, Java Café, bowling centers, and for the Warrior in Transition Unit program. ARMP slot machines are fun and pay out thousands of dollars of jack-pots each week! Revenues from gaming machines go back to support many quality of life projects and programs. Eligibility • U.S. ID card holder • 18 years or older • Authorized guest How to play Get a playing card for a $1 deposit from the card machine, and load your card with cash on a game machine. Cards can be used interchangeably at the game rooms at the Storck or Katterbach bowling centers. For winnings under $1,200, the on-site Automated Cash Machine will pay you in cash, for a jack-pot over $1,200, an ARMP technician will meet you to pay your winnings with the option of IRS tax-withholding on the spot.

The award-winning Terrace Playhouse Entertainment Program consists of music and theatre activities that support the entire U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach. We are a community theatre and thrive on the support of you, our community volunteers. We don’t just need people on stage we need people to help create the magic of theatre behind the scenes. Leagues

The Katterbach Bowling Center partners with a league sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) to host a League Night most Wednesdays. To join the league, please contact the bowling center to be connected with the league board. Typically, there are 2-3 leagues per year: summer, fall and winter. The number and length of leagues depends upon the interest of participants and the league members’ voting. Open bowling is not available after 3 p.m. on League Nights to prepare the lanes for the league. For those interested in participating in a league at Storck Barracks, please sign up at the Storck Bowling Center.

Youth Bowling

Through bowling, young people can learn such skills as balance, hand-eye coordination, teamwork and more. The “youth” bowling age is 17 and under at both bowling centers making bowling a fun and inexpensive activity for families. To comply with the Army child supervision policy, children in the 5th grade or younger must always be supervised by a parent or guardian while visiting the centers. Fun for everyone! Anyone can knock down pins with the bumpers up! Just ask the bowling center attendant to engage the bumpers, or request bumpers on your party room contract. At Storck, the bumpers can be activated automatically through the console allowing the option of bumpers or no bumpers for each bowler on the same lane. At Katterbach, the bumpers must be activated for the lane for all bowlers on that lane.

Hunting, Fishing & Sport Shooting

Our Urlas & Storck Automotive Skills Centers offer a professionally-operated and outfitted do-it-yourself maintenance and repair facility for our community. Shop patrons can develop mechanical, technical and problem-solving skills applicable to all military occupational specialties. Attendance at a safety briefing is required before using the centers but it’s an easy, first step to personal car care.

We offer a full program with guidance and certifications needed to experience Europe’s vast sporting opportunities. Guided and un-guided hunts can be arranged with our Outdoor Recreation, Hunting, Fishing & Sport Shooting (HFSS) Coordinator. We have a robust fishing program headquartered at our very own Soldiers Lake located near Shipton Kaserne and Urlas Housing as well as being able to provide sport shooting and unit function opportunities including skeet and trap, 100 meter rifle, running boar, pistol range and archery.

The Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS) was developed to give the Army a real-time snapshot of volunteer activities at any given time, at any given installation. You may search for volunteer opportunities; log your hours, and document training and awards all on one site. Best of all, the information travels with you when you PCS or ETS and provides you with a complete volunteer history whether you are just tracking your volunteer activities or using the information to search for employment. Remember all volunteer hours must be tracked through the VMIS System. For further information, please call the Army Volunteer Corps office at CIV 09802.83.2374/2883, DSN 467.2374/2883.

Access the VMIS site Log on to: www. myarmyonesource.com • Click on Volunteer Tools (upper right hand corner). • Now you should see the page that says “I am looking for volunteer opportuni ties.” • Click on switch to OCONUS. • Click on the map where it says Germany. • Go to the bottom of this page and filter by organization, change the record page to 200, apply filter it’s easier to find positions this way. • Select a position you are interested in, and then click to apply at the bottom of the page. • (If you are a first time user, you must register first, follow the steps below to pply. Register (for 1st time users) • Click on the Registration for this site ( upper right hand corner ) • Complete the registration information. • Click continue. • Verify Information, click Register at the bottom of the right hand corner. • Screen will show “Registration Com- plete” and Thank you for registering” You have been pre approved and logged into the site. • Click on Continue (returns to home page) Apply for a position (once registered) • Follow the steps above, then: • Position description will open on the screen.

• Scroll to bottom and click on submit. • Screen will say Volunteer Application sent. • Screen will say what would you like to do next? • An email will be sent to the Organiza- tion Point of Contact (OPOC) who must approve your application in VMIS before you can begin logging volunteer hours. Log in your hours • Log in to myarmyonesource.com • Click on LOG IN at the top of the page. • Click on VOLUNTEER TOOLS (upper right hand corner). • Click on Volunteer Activity. • All positions you are registered for are under this tab. • To enter for current month, select day, then Add for Open Dates. • To enter historical hours, select period, and Add for Period.
