PERSONAL COMPETENCE
Hello! I’m Antonio, recent graduated (with an evaluation of 110L/110) at the University IUAV of Venice, curriculum “Architecture and Innovation”. I’m attempting to future my education outside of my accademic experience throught an internship or a job in the professionaln field of architecture. I passionately believe that an intership in a foreign country will stretch my wings as an architect. In turn I believe that my abilities will be an asset for any firm. I’m a self-sufficient worker (but I also enjoy working in a team), a quick learner, an attentive listener, a costantly growing spirits. The following portfolio contains a little selection of my master’s works, thanks for your consideration, hope you will enjoy!

The project stems from the need to rethink mobility in the lagoon of Venice. The proposed solution is an evolution of the traditional means of transport; the kayak allows you move with agility everywhere and respecting the delicate ecological balance of the place. This center is just one piece of the system, other support buildings are located in strategic areas within the lagoon. The experience of moving kayak is unique: the view on the water satin and the contact with nature make it an ideal means of transport for this area. 05

The project proposes to redevelop brownfield factories in Marghera, close to Venice. It in as abandoned place but very interesting for the infrastructure who come here: there are highways, Sea Ports and railways. The function is to startup a new highly innovative and technological factory who produce so but also to display their products to make them known, all in ecosotenibile manner. The building reuse natural resources for energy; from the sun to the water. The fragmented geometry of typical factories of the seventeenth century IXX and is not sustainable. Then, through a study of archetypes, it is understood that the ideal setup is the one building at court. The different heights are due to compliance with the master plan of the municipality in question. We hope that this building is useful not only for what they produce but also for its good example. 19

SLOW VENICE EXPERIENCE Location | Portegrandi (VE) - IT University | IUAV of Venice Period | Atelier project master I - 2015 Professor | A. Cibic + F.Peron + E.Siviero Team | + D. Bellini + P. Temellin
More and more people are interested on the “Sustainable Tourism” understood as respect for the place but also local traditions and in the Venice lagoon has unique features that can still be discovered. In Portegrandi we designed an “experiential farm” that can transmit unique emotions. The project aims to think about the user experience 360 °; it ‘was designed not only the minimum housing but also the aggregation points, the activities, the open spaces, the methods of transportation to get to “Slow Venice”, etc... All this with extraordinary energy performance that exceed higher current European standards in terms of energy savings.

Recently, in Italy it was introduced a new law, the “good school” that dictates certain rules for the design of learning spaces. This has raised the question: Traditional Italian schools are suitable for the learning? after a study our answer was no, they are all buildings designed in the past and which do not meet any standards of flexibility essential today. It was necessary to overturn the concept of school building to which we were accustomed, looking at contemporary architecture in Europe and in the world. We have studied many works of architects to search on a construction technology that would allow the maximum flexibility of spaces, we found the solution in the “Kunsthaus Graz” designed by Peter Cok. We have analyzed and adapted the construction technology to the context and to our needs; we successively built an example of primary school as well as should be thought of it twenty-first century. The result is a deliberately foreign project to the context, this is because the model must meet only the use requirements and can be built where it is needed. Also the colors are essential in the learning process; that’s why it is Necessary to abandon the brown tones of the Italian schools for more stimulating colors (red, yellow) or relaxing (blue) secondo the activities to be performed.
