Delicate Peacock Feather AppliquĂŠ
The whole nine & three quarter yards
As the name suggests, this tutorial results in a feathery-light, delicate, beautiful appliquĂŠ that closely resembles the actual peacock feather. It can be used in numerous projects. Hope you enjoy making it as much as I enjoyed designing it! Skill Needed: Crochet Skill level: Beginner

Gauge: The appliquĂŠ made using the materials listed above and the following pattern measures about 5.5 inches at the longest point and 4 inches at the widest point.

Crochet terminology: US
Pattern: Round 1: Using colour A, in a magic circle, ch 3(counts as dc), 12 dc (total of 13 dc). Change to colour B. Using colour B, 4 tr into the magic circle. Pull tail to tighten the circle.
Round 2: Continue using colour B. 1 sc on the top of the ch 3 of round 1(colour A), [2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in next st] 6 times(total of 19 sc). Change to colour C and Sl st into 1st tr of Round 1. Round 3: Continue using colour C, (ch 1 and 1 sc) in the 1st tr of Round 1. 2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in next st, [2 sc in the next st] 2 times, [1 hdc in the next st] 2 times, 2 hdc in the next st, [1 dc in the next st] 2 times, 2 dc in the next st, [1 tr in the next st] 2 times, 2 tr in the nest st, [1 tr in the next st] 2 times, 2 dc in the next st, [1 dc in the next st] 2 times, 2 hdc in the next st, [1 hdc in the next st] 2 times, 2 sc in the next st(including ch 1 there are 33 sts).
