Churchill Showroom M.Arch Architects Since May 2012, I’ve been working on the interior renovations of the Churchill Furniture showroom. I was responsible for all the construction documentation, mezzanine curtain wall design and 3d renderings. The project should be finished in late January. In addition, I’ve worked on 3d visualizations for the DUMBO Empire Stores compeitions which can be seen on the next page.

McCarren Park Pool critic: Jonas Coersmeier Nano-technology reveals a novel myriad of structural patterns and connections. Using this nano-model of a daisy, the structure performed in two directional plane forming a rigid skeletal structure. In addition, through the plasticity of Maya, form and space was evolved through a manipulation of the geometry of a Taurus.
Student Housing critic: Dave Pigram There is common issue with student housing. How do students deal with the social and spacial elements throughout the designed space. The initial resolution in the design of this building was addressing flexibility of spaces. With the incorporation of terrace spaces, transparency and court yards allows the students to connect with each other both within and outside the building.

Mega structures and infrastructure are commonly suited as mechanical systems, while more unit-based elements of the city geared individuation are often left to the organic. Architecture that challenges this basic paradigm by creating more individuated infrastructure and conversely more uniform units will convert each citizen into a member of the clan that is the city.

Ultimately, the artist has to become aware that just through art alone he won’t achieve immortality. Therefore, the artist must accept that he knows nothing. However, once he enters the mind of a physicist the combination of the internal and external world become coexistent and therefore the man who is an artist and the physicist will become immortal.
