2019
Welcome, from the Apple Hill Growers! My first season as President of the Apple Hill Grower’s Association has special meaning to me. My parents, Edio and Joan Delfino, were one of the original founders of the Association in 1964. They wanted, like all our farmers
back then, to raise their children on a farm. They were dedicated to teaching them that hard work and love of the land could have a positive impact on the world around them. Nowadays, many of the Apple Hill farms are on their second and third generation of farmers. These farmers, like the founders before them, take pride in knowing that the products bought by our guests are grown right here on our farms. We hope to continue that for many years to come. Enjoy the family history and traditions that our over 50 Growers have to offer. We have loved sharing our farms with you these last 55 years. Chris Delfino Apple Hill Growers President

Sportsman’s Hall Sportsman’s Hall has been serving the traveling public since the 1850’s. Once upon a time it was a hotel, a stage stop, and a Pony Express stop. There was a lumber mill on the site at one time, too. But always, there was (530) 647-2670 good food. Moon and Amy Shim, owners of this fabled and historic restaurant, continue the tradition of delicious food for visitors. Part of the original building still stands, hand hewn beams and all, in the large, open dining area. Come to Pollock Pines, stop in, enjoy a meal, and find out what good food in the mountains really tastes like, as Sportsman’s Hall continues to make history.
