¿Qué ha sentido al ganar su segundo torneo Ladies European Tour (LET) en Golf Son Muntaner, en su primera temporada en este circuito? No me lo puedo creer, estoy muy feliz. Recordaré esta victoria en Son Muntaner toda mi vida. Es la primera vez que he jugado en este campo y me ha encantado. Es muy bonito y las condiciones para jugar eran idóneas. Jugar con unos buenos greens en noviembre es complicado, pero aquí estaban en un perfecto estado. Invito a todo apasionado del golf a jugar en Son Muntaner.

¿Cómo mantuvo la presión de empezar la última jornada por delante en la clasificación?

Al principio estuve muy nerviosa. En los primeros hoyos me dije: ‘cálmate, respira, ya sabes’. Ganar en Suiza me ayudó. Me estoy acostumbrando a manejar mis emociones. Intenté divertirme y tomarme las cosas con calma. Así todo sale bien.

El año pasado Yannik Paul ganó el Mallorca Golf Open y este año usted. A los jugadores alemanes se les da bien Son Muntaner... ¡Sí! [risas]. De pequeña yo solía venir mucho a Mallorca porque mi familia tiene aquí un apartamento. Nos encanta la isla y quizás los alemanes estamos acostumbrados al golf de Mallorca. El clima es ideal para jugar.

¿Qué hoyo fue el más complicado para usted? El ocho. El tee es muy estrecho y tanto si le pegas a la derecha como a la izquierda, no quedas en la mejor posición.

What did you feel on winning your second Ladies European Tour (LET) at Golf Son Muntaner, in your first season on this circuit?

I can’t believe it, I’m really happy. I will remember this victory at Son Muntaner my whole life. It’s the first time I have played on this course, and I loved it. It’s very pretty and the playing conditions were ideal. It’s difficult to find good greens to play on in November, but they were in perfect condition here. I would invite all golf enthusiasts to play at Son Muntaner.

How did you handle the pressure of starting the last day ahead in the ranking? I was extremely nervous at first. Over the first few holes

I said to myself, “Calm down, breathe, you know what to do”. Winning in Switzerland helped me. I’m getting used to managing my emotions. I tried to have fun and take things easy. Like that everything goes well.

Last year Yannik Paul won the Mallorca Golf Open and this year it was you. German players are good with Son Muntaner... Yes! (laughs). When I was small, I used to come to Mallorca a lot because my family has an apartment here. We love the island – maybe we Germans are used to the golf of Mallorca. The climate is perfect for playing.

Which hole did you find the most difficult? The eighth one. The tee is very narrow and regardless of whether you hit to the right or the left, you aren’t left in the best position.

Wie hat es sich angefühlt, ihr zweites Turnier der Ladies European Tour (LET) auf Golf Son Muntaner zu gewinnen, und das in ihrer ersten Saison auf diesem Circuit? Ich kann es nicht glauben, ich bin sehr glücklich. An diesen Sieg in

Son Muntaner werde ich mich mein ganzes Leben lang erinnern. Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich auf diesem Platz gespielt habe, und er hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Er ist sehr schön und die Spielbedingungen waren ideal. Im November auf guten Grüns zu spielen ist schwierig, aber hier waren sie in perfektem Zustand. Ich lade alle Golfliebhaber ein, auf Son Muntaner zu spielen.

Wie sind Sie mit dem Druck umgegangen, am letzten Tag als Führende in die Wertung zu gehen? Am Anfang war ich sehr nervös. Auf den ersten paar Löchern habe ich mir gesagt: ‚Beruhige dich, atme, du weißt schon‘. Der Sieg in der Schweiz hat mir geholfen. Ich habe mich daran gewöhnt, mit meinen Emotionen umzugehen. Ich habe versucht, Spaß zu haben und es ruhig angehen zu lassen. So klappt alles. Letztes Jahr hat Yannik Paul die Mallorca Golf Open gewonnen und dieses Jahr haben Sie gewonnen. Deutsche Spieler sind gut in Son Muntaner? Ja [lacht]. Als Kind bin ich oft nach Mallorca gekommen, weil meine Familie hier eine Wohnung hat. Wir lieben die Insel und vielleicht sind wir Deutschen das Golfen auf Mallorca gewohnt. Das Klima ist ideal zum Spielen. Welches Loch war für Sie das schwierigste? Das achte. Der Abschlag ist sehr eng, und ob man ihn nun nach rechts oder nach links schlägt, man ist nicht in der besten Position.
