Luna Sobrón (Palma, 1994) ha cumplido el sueño de jugar en casa. Con una tarjeta de -1 ha logrado la decimoséptima posición en el Mallorca Ladies Golf Open.

¿Qué significa para ti volver a casa y jugar un torneo del LET en Golf Son Muntaner, el campo donde empezaste a jugar al golf? Es algo especial para mí porque tienes a la familia y los amigos muy cerca. Siempre he soñado con poder jugar un torneo en Mallorca y, sobre todo, en el campo donde empecé a jugar, Son Muntaner.

¿Cómo surgió tu pasión por el golf? Mi padre, que es mi mentor en el golf y al que le debo mi pasión por este deporte, me trajo aquí muy pequeñita y desde los seis años juego en Son Muntaner.

¿Cómo te ha ayudado el libro El psicólogo de Javier Iriondo a mejorar tu juego?

Me lo recomendó la también golfista Carlota Ziganda, y cuando acabé de leerlo escribí a Javier porque me entusiasmó y necesitaba hablar con él. Mi mente cambió por completo. Leo mucho sobre estos temas y me ha ayudado para conseguir la tarjeta del tour americano.

Luna Sobrón (Palma, 1994) has fulfilled the dream of playing at home. With a -1 card, she attained 17th position in the Mallorca Ladies Golf Open.

What does it mean to you to return home and play in an LET tournament at Golf Son Muntaner, the course where you started playing golf? It’s very special for me, because you have your family and friends nearby. I have always dreamed of being able to play a tournament on Mallorca and particularly on the course where I first started playing, Son Muntaner. How did your passion for golf begin? My father, who is my golf mentor and to whom I owe my passion for the sport, brought me here when I was very small, and I have been playing at Son Muntaner since I was six.

How has the book El psicólogo by Javier Iriondo helped you to improve your play? It was recommended to me by another golfer, Carlota Ziganda, and when I finished reading it I wrote to Javier because I was excited about it and needed to speak to him. My mind changed completely. I read a lot on these subjects and it has helped me get an American tour card.

Was bedeutet es, nach Hause zurückzukehren und an einem LET-Turnier auf Golf Son Muntaner, dem Platz, auf dem du mit dem Golfspielen begonnen hast, teilzunehmen? Es ist etwas Besonderes für mich, weil die Familie und die Freunde ganz in der Nähe sind. Ich habe immer davon geträumt, ein Turnier auf Mallorca zu spielen und vor allem auf dem Platz, wo ich angefangen habe zu spielen, Son Muntaner.

Wie entstand deine Leidenschaft für Golf? Mein Vater, der mein Mentor im Golf ist und dem ich meine Leidenschaft für diesen Sport verdanke, hat mich hierher gebracht, als ich noch sehr klein war, und seit ich sechs Jahre alt bin, spiele ich auf Son Muntaner.

Wie hat dir das Buch „El psicólogo“ von Javier Iriondo geholfen, dein Spiel zu verbessern? Es wurde mir von der Golferin Carlota Ziganda empfohlen, und als ich es gelesen hatte, schrieb ich Javier an, weil es mich begeisterte und ich mit ihm sprechen musste. Meine Einstellung hat sich völlig verändert. Ich lese viel über diese Themen, und es hat mir geholfen, die Spielberechtigung für die amerikanische Tour zu erhalten.
