Newsflash THREE MEDALS FOR GRAN SELLO AT CONCOURS MONDIAL DE BRUXELLES Gran Sello Macabeo-Verdejo 2012, Gran Sello Tempranillo Syrah 2011 and Gran Sello Tempranillo Garnacha 2011 have each been awarded a Silver Medal at this year’s edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Only on their second vintage, these wines from Central Spain are proving very successful in the international markets. A total of 8,200 wines from 50 producer countries competed before a hand-picked selection of the world’s foremost tasters. Only half of the wines in the competition were awarded a medal. The Gran Sello range is a tribute to Spain’s indigenous grape varieties which are used to make wines of impeccable style and elegance.
