My concept - Site wise Dualities regulate our world. Positive and negative combined together form driving forces in our environment, and space. Through contrast, we manage to express ourselves. Hence, in my plan I oppose the strong, massive, and rational original brick building to a light, covering, biomorphic membrane composing my final additional structure.

My concept - Convergence and Curves The first attempt at surrounding the building by the protective membrane happened to be too invasive. The dynamism of the building was lost and it was almost entirely swallowed by my proposition.

Through various experimentations, the shape, size and geometrical base of my extension evolved towards a compromise between the existing building and it’s new shell, in its dynamism and composition.
