we are looking for the young & active changemakers of the future! Architects for Change is seeking applications from young inspired architecture and design students in Lebanon to become part of the Architects for Change Community for 2018.

this year we developed two different membership types to fit the needs and availability of our members. both types benefit from a variety of opportunities, however, the fellowship program requires more commitment throughout the full year and follow a specific curriculum. a network member has the flexibility in deciding how he/ she wants to be engaged within the organization throughout the year. read more in the following pages.

the fellowship program
the fellowship is a new program developed by Architects for Change. the yearlong program is based on hands-on, practical, and interactive experiences designed to meet the needs of young emerging leaders to develop their personal and professional skills, acquire innovative knowledge, build a strong network, and develop their own initiative or project. the fellowship is divided into three modules: module 1: professional development (5 months) module 2: professional experience (3 months) module 3: idea development (4 months) the fellowship will offer you: - mentorship & coaching - a summer internship - training programs - study visits - networking opportunities Please note that the fellowship is a yearlong program and all selected members will have to commit to participating in all activities of all modules.

application process
who can apply? You are welcome to submit your application if you meet the following criteria: - you are between the age of 17 and 25 (born between 1992 & 2000) - you are a student 1 pursuing a degree in the design field 2 - you graduated in 2016 or 2017 with a degree in the design field 2 - you reside in Lebanon throughout 2018, regardless of your nationality - you are driven, open to new experiences, and a team player - you are a former member 3 and you follow the eligibility criteria If you are applying for the fellowship: - all of the above - you have the time, passion, and dedication to commit to a full year program
if you are a student above the age of 25, you are eligible to apply eligible majors: architecture, interior design, interior architecture, graphic design, landscape architecture, product design 3 Mapping project members are eligible disregarding age or graduation year 1 2

how to apply?
you must follow these steps and timeline in order to make a successful application and become an official member: 1 - fill and submit the online application form before the deadline - former members deadline: October 1 - new applicants: October 29 2 - pass a 20-minutes interview with our team (if short-listed) on one of these days: October 28 - November 18 - November 25 for the fellowship applicants, you will be asked for a second interview on Skype between October 28 and November 25 3 - attend the orientation and training weekend on these days - Friday, January 12, 6 pm - 9 pm - Saturday, January 13, 10 am - 5 pm for the fellowship applicants, attend an additional exclusive day - Sunday, January 14, 10 am - 5 pm 4 - submit your membership fee 50 USD and copies of your ID and student ID on Friday, January 12 Announcement of final results: December 1, 2017

terms & conditions - Applicants can fill out the application in English, French, or Arabic. - Applications must be complete. Applications with missing or false information will be discarded. - An applicant can only apply once. Once the application has been submitted, it cannot be edited and it is not possible to fill in another application form. - The interviews with the team are mandatory. If an applicant fails to show up to the confirmed interview, he/she will be disqualified from joining Architects for Change. - Attending the orientation and training weekend is mandatory. If an applicant does not attend the full weekend without a valid excuse, he/she will be disqualified from joining Architects for Change. - The membership fee shall be submitted on the first training day in cash and the amount is non-refundable. - The membership is valid for one-year only. A member will need to apply again in the following year and submit a new membership fee. - The call for members is open once a year, and it is not possible to join Architects for change after the deadline until next year. - Applicants are expected to respect the confidentiality of all internal activities and shared information by Architects for Change before and after becoming a member.
