Dear Reader Hello everyone…
Has Spring sprung? Not quite but we are surely on our way. Once again, I take this opportunity to say, “You are Awesome!’ Your continued dedication to kindness for all is commendable. I know it has been difficult. Staying home and not seeing your friends can feel a little lonely and frustrating. However, staying home for now has been what the world needed to keep us safe. Soon our new way of being will flourish. We will get back to doing things outside and with others. School will be in person and on the web. How exciting is it to have learned new things and new ways of communicating and being there for each other. You have been patient and brave. Please continue forward with kindness in your heart for all. The world we are creating is for you and YOU should have a say in it. Let’s promote veganism to everyone….everywhere and surely peace and love will be the way of the world. I’m here for you.
“You are Awesome!” _____________________________________________

Kid Power Kid Zone There are plenty of young individuals standing up for animal rights, climate change, and vegan whole food plant-based eating. We commend you. We Thank you!
Meet 7-year-old Ian from Florida Ian loves animals and has been vegan since his mom explained to him where meat, milk and eggs come from. One of his friends is a rescued chicken named Admiral Fluffy Boots and Ian wants the world to go vegan because turning animals into food is not right.
Meet 13-year-old Josie from Virginia Josie has been vegan since she visited Farm Sanctuary and met the animals rescued from the meat, milk and egg industries. Since then, she has learned so much about typical farm industry practices and this has only strengthened her resolve. She says: ‘There is no humane way to get dairy, meat, eggs, fish, honey because they are all not meant for us, and so there is someone who is hurt along the way.’
Meet 7-year-old Kimaya from Arizona Kimaya cares deeply about the environment and has asked her grandfather, Dr Sailesh Rao, to help the world go vegan to heal the planet before she turns 16. Kimaya says she is vegan because ‘if the animals are hurt, I’m hurt, because I don’t want to make them feel bad, I don’t want them to be let down. I think everybody should be vegan because of all the animals.’
Meet 8-year-old Lucia from Kentucky Lucia has been vegan for two years, since watching Okja and asking her mom where bacon comes from. She was so devastated by the answer that she has been a campaigner for animals ever since. She says: ‘I want pigs and cows and chickens and all animals to live a long life until they naturally die.’.

Did you know… Animals - Coyotes • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Coyotes have excellent vision and a great sense of smell. Coyotes are very good swimmers. Coyotes rarely build their own dens. They usually take over an abandoned one. Dogs run with their tails up; coyotes run with their tails down. Coyotes can run about 40 miles an hour. Coyotes are found in most of the United States and Canada and some of Mexico. Coyotes mate for life and are monogamous. Coyotes raise their young as a couple or within a larger pack. Coyote parents are very protective of the young and move the pups to new dens if they feel the original is unsafe. Coyotes are by far the most vocal wild mammals in North America. Researchers have identified 11 different vocalizations: growl, huff, woof, bark, bark-howl, lone howl, group yip-howl, whine, group howl, greeting songs, yelps. Coyotes use their vocalizations to communicate with others in their family group or pack and communicate territory to animals outside the pack. Coyotes are most closely related to gray wolves. Coyotes are excellent jumpers. When jumping horizontally they can clear distances up to 13 feet. Coyotes have long fur that is brownish red, grey or white. Coyotes have a bushy tail like a fox. Labeled "wily" by humans, coyotes are intelligent and versatile creatures.
