Dear Reader A new year …is nearly here; it brings heartwarming …vegan-cheer! Here, in Albuquerque, the air is, now, crispy-cold. And, I do prefer to admire the wonders-of-winter, from inside a warm, window-ed space… a car; a shop; or, my kitchen. Nonetheless, because I love animals: I have bundled myself up, in insulating hats, suits, gloves and boots, …from head-to-toes, including my nose… why? So I could: march all-evening in a parade, through the frozen-&-windy city streets of Albuquerque, to promote veganism; or, work all day, outdoors, on the shady-side of a snow covered mountain, feeding sanctuary animals; and, scooping what they’re “pooping” (…someone must; because, rescued-animals cannot roam, safely, in the wild. To shield them, from wild predators, rescued-animals have their own “rooms;” and, each “room” must be cleaned). So, we all “pitch in” …we all “have a place” …we are all “talented, at something.” But, why do we: make sacrifices; and, offer extra help? Because, we… feel it. If you’d like to: …read about; or, view official-videos… of some kids who really “feel” their vegan-activism, try exploring Greta Thunberg and Vegan Evan (or, explore many other published young-activists). I appreciate you all, …your compassion and your dedicated efforts. I eagerly await 2020, to witness so many “young ones:” getting involved, in the important-conversations; and, promoting a compassionate-world to their parents, friends, families, and to community/country/world …leaders. You are the future. I believe, that this world’s children, living in the world …here & now… will, one day, see the “dream” of: A Vegan World - come true. It must be true, if Earth is going to survive, as a home, for biology …for you. Yes, you will surely do this. I want to help. The 4m-long giant Pacific octopus – the largest octopus species in the world – lays and tends to one super brood of about 100,000 eggs.

So dedicated are these mothers to their eggs, carefully caressing them to keep them clean and supplied with oxygen, that they have no chance to feed or look after themselves.

After six months of dedicating themselves solely to safeguarding their eggs, the mothers die once the eggs hatch.

The little babies are about the size of a grain of rice at birth.

Giant Pacific octopuses are quite common and live in the north Pacific Ocean in the shallow, cold waters of Canada, the Unites States, Korea, Russia and Japan.

Despite their massive size, their soft body can squeeze into tiny holes in rocks and reefs. A fully grown adult can squeeze through a hole the size of a lemon.

With an arm span of up to 19 feet and a weight of about 110 pounds, the giant Pacific octopus is the largest species of octopus in the world. Like other species of octopus, they can change color and have excellent eyesight.

Giant Pacific octopuses can grow to 29.5 feet.

Giant Pacific octopuses can be found more than 330 feet underwater.

Giant Pacific octopuses have 2,140 to 2,240 suction cups on their arms, giving them a powerful grip and sense of taste and smell.
