Mercy Mats Needed for Area Shelters From now until the end of December, Milton-Union Public Library will be collecting Mercy Mats to donate to shelters in our area. Dates are subject to change, depending upon interest. Mercy Mats provide a comfortable cushion for homeless people to place blankets or sleeping bags. Because they're made of plastic, they're easy to clean and use in wet conditions without water seeping into the sleeping bag. Please bring your mats to the library any time during normal business hours. We will take great care in making sure they are given to those who need them during the cold, wet months ahead. The library is located at 560 S. Main St., West Milton. For questions, please contact us at 937-698-5515.
