“Got Your Nose!”

As a fourth generation future farmer on the Harrod Family Farm, Ryker Harrod (16 months old when this picture was taken last year) always got a kick out of accompanying dad Kevin when overseeing the family’s feeder pig operation. Ryker enjoyed going up and down the aisles and touching the noses of the piglets while talking to them in his own unique language. During fall harvests, Ryker enjoys riding with his Grandpaw Mayo in the ‘Big Red’ combine. This “Daddy’s Little Helper” is the son of Kevin and Brittany Harrod of Ansonia. His grandparents are Ed and Cindy Mayo of Greenville and Galen and Ann Harrod of Ansonia. His great-grandparents are Ron and Rita Mayo of Greenville, who submitted this sweet picture for our Snapshot contest, and Marlene Harrod, also of Greenville.
