Following a sharp decline in COVID-19 hospitalizations, Premier Health is resuming normal visitor guidelines for patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings who have not been diagnosed with COVID-19. The relaxed guidelines are effective immediately. Masks continue to be required for hospital visitors. In addition, the following guidelines are now in place for hospitalized patients who test positive for COVID-19: • Patients who are positive for COVID-19 may have one visitor at a time. • NICU infants who test positive for COVID-19 may have two visitors at a time. • Patients who are positive for COVID-19 and who are in labor will be allowed two support persons. Premier Health hospitals include Atrium Medical Center, Miami Valley Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital North, Miami Valley Hospital South, and Upper Valley Medical Center. We are grateful for the community’s ongoing understanding and cooperation in limiting the spread of COVID-19 to support our health system’s workforce in delivering the best care possible. Please continue to take proven steps to reduce your chances of contracting or spreading COVID-19, including wearing a mask in public, practicing social distancing when possible, and receiving a COVID-19 vaccination or your COVID-19 booster. For more on Premier Health’s visitor guidelines, go to www.premierhealth.com/visitors.

All decorations on the grounds after that date will be discarded. New arrangements may be placed at the gravesites but must follow cemetery guidelines. No glass containers, no planting of flowers, shrubs, or trees without permission. If you are using a monument-mounted saddle, please mount them securely and put the name of the deceased on the bottom of the saddle so the sexton can identify them if they are blown off.

EverHeart Hospice Nurse Hannah Shaw Earns RN License EverHeart Hospice congratulates Hannah Shaw for advancing from an LPN to earning her RN license. While attending Rhodes State College, Hannah’s education in the medical field began in 2015 when she received her phlebotomy certificate. She knew this was just the beginning, sharing, "My RN journey started because I wanted to further my education and career within the nursing field. I wanted more opportunities for myself and to widen my experience in different areas of nursing. I knew going back to school for my RN after I had received my LPN in 2018 was important for my future.” Hannah began working at EverHeart Hospice in 2021, where she now serves as an RN. With her Associate’s degree in Nursing, she is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

J.R. ClaRke PubliC libRaRy 102 E. Spring St., Covington & 937-473-2226
Our renovations are almost complete and we have moved back to the original main library location at 102 E. Spring St. Our Trustee Board and library staff are thrilled to again be of service to our patrons, community, and school. We have begun scheduling activities for March and April. Anyone interested can contact the library to sign up and ask questions. We also welcome suggestions for various types of activities for all ages. We can accommodate almost everyone with the new Hybrid Elevator that has been installed. In addition, we also provide a wide range of business services to organizations, companies, homeschoolers, churches, etc. Our Community Room is larger, more efficient, includes a complete kitchen, and can hold up to 100 people. We also have meeting space for various size groups in the alcove, the new living room, etc. Since the library is a public location for everyone, there is no specific charge to use any of the spaces, but donations are welcome and will be used for activities encompassing all ages. Applications for rooms and use of spaces are available at the circulation desk. rEMinDEr: Signing up for an activity or event in advance helps the library staff, speaker, or trainer be prepared for the number of people attending. We recommend 7-10 days before an event. Thank you for helping us make your experience at J.r. Clarke Library a special one!
