jingle along with jrc & support our community! Would you like to have any book or material fines deleted? We have a very easy way to do so beginning Monday, Dec. 2 thru Monday, Dec. 23. For every canned good brought to the library, our staff will delete $1 off any fine (excluding lost materials). You can bring in any unexpired canned good(s) to the front circulation desk and our staff will take care of reducing a book or material fine for you. Perhaps you can "jingle your pocket change" by purchasing canned goods to support others. Call the library for additional information. steamers class, usually held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m., will not be held during the month of December. For those who have lost a child, sibling, or grandchild...
Candlelight Memorial Service Planned December 8 in Tipp City Every year, The Compassionate Friends of Miami County invite anyone who has lost a child, sibling, or grandchild to join in a service of remembrance. We celebrate our loved ones’ lives through the lighting of candles in their names. After the candle lighting service at 3 p.m Sunday, Dec. 8, in Zion Lutheran Church, Main and Third Sts., Tipp City, there will be a reception dinner. Meats will be provided. Those attending the dinner are asked to bring something to share with others; however, you are welcome to attend the service only. There will be a slide show of our childrens’ photos playing during the dinner. Please provide a photo of your child and RSVP by December 1. E-mail your photo and/or RSVP to kbundy.tcf@gmail.com. To RSVP only, call Barb at 937-836-5939. Please include the child’s name, your name, address, and the number attending. We also invite you to bring a photograph of your child for the display area set aside in the reception room at the dinner. Feel free to include other memorabilia, if you wish.
