New 3600 Series‌ With the new 3600 Series, Valpadana introduces an innovative and technologically advanced tractor range designed to meet all the requirements of the modern farmer, in line with the company’s mission to produce specialised machines that set a benchmark in large-scale orchard and vineyard tractors. To keep up with the ever-changing market demands and the continuous evolution of cultivation systems, the new Valpadana 3600 tractor series is offered in three dedicated versions which share the same transmission but come in different sizes to accommodate a variety of applications: F, GT and GE. The new 3600 Series underwent extensive design changes resulting in added value for farmers. Major innovations include: new, environmentally-friendly 3- and 4-cylinder Perkins engines built to strict Euro 3/USA TIER 3 standards for improved fuel economy and reduced noise levels; a new five-speed transmission with De-Clutch Control and Power Shuttle making these tractors easier to handle and more versatile than ever before; a new driving position mounted on a suspended platform that dampens vibrations and reduces noise; ergonomically-arranged controls for intuitive operation and stress-free driving. In addition to this, the 3600 range offers a number of features designed to further enhance the tractor performance and productivity: a new electrohydraulic PTO engagement system for smooth PTO starting under load; an improved steering angle; an auxiliary fuel tank for increased operating range; a powerful integral braking system; an efficient hydraulic system with dedicated pump; a triple pump, available as an option, that increases the flow rate up to 100 l/min; a fully opening hood that provides easy access to the engine compartment for routine service and maintenance.


GE = Low orchard With its ultra-low driving position, this version is ideally suited for working in canopy and Y-trellis training systems as well as under greenhouses. In addition, the low centre of gravity provides excellent stability when operating on hillsides and steep slopes.足足

F = Narrow orchard Extremely easy to handle, this version has a tight turning radius and allows the track width to be reduced even when large-size tyres are fitted, making this tractor ideally suited for orchards, vineyards and other crops with narrow row spacing and tight headlands.

GT = Wide orchard Combining a large track and a long wheelbase with the possibility to fit oversized tyres, this version is stable and sturdy enough to handle open field work just as well as orchard and vineyard operations.


ROPS An approved front folding ROPS allows this tractor to comfortably work in canopy-style orchards and vineyards, as well as in dense foliage crops and under greenhouse tunnels, while ensuring maximum operator safety.

ENGINES New Perkins 1100 Series “Euro 3 / USA TIER 3” engines: power within easy reach Available in 3- and 4-cylinder aspirated, turbo and turbo aftercooled configuration with a displacement of 1100 cc, these engines develop from 68 to 110,2 HP (ISO) with the maximum torque becoming available from the lower rpm range. Based on state-of-the-art technology, these rugged, environmentallyfriendly engines are designed to deliver durable and reliable performance while providing low noise levels, reduced vibrations and improved fuel economy. Featuring a new heat exchanger with expansion tank and an auxiliary fuel tank, the new Perkins engines make the 3600 series tractors unrivalled in terms of operating range and adaptability to temperate climates.

FRONT AXLE

That makes the difference The 3600 series offers a choice of two front axles, a “wide” one and a “narrow” one, whose dimensions strictly depend on the size of the rear axles. The type of front axle adopted makes the difference between the F, GT and GE versions. The new design of the chassis allows for an extremely tight turning radius even on the narrow version and with very large tyres. The double-cross universal joints; the watertight epicyclic final drives; the sturdily-built, high-quality rotating mechanisms; the efficiency of the hydraulically-controlled braking system with oil-cooled internal disc and the differential lock with simultaneous hydraulic engagement make the front axle a crucial component of the chassis of the new 3600 Series tractors.

TWIN LOCK - 4 WD With electrohydraulic engagement The simultaneous locking of the front and rear differentials is electrohydraulically controlled through an automatic release device which utilises the steering brakes. The four-wheel drive is engaged by simply pressing an ergonomically-placed button and activates automatically when the engine is turned off.

POWER LIFT With draft, position and intermix control functions to handle a variety of implements The lift arms with cat. 2 quick-release couplings are adjustable and specially shaped to allow quick and easy attachment of all standard implements available on the market. The maximum lifting capacity at the ball joints reaches 2600 kg, while the draft and position controls allow for extremely precise adjustments of the implement. The intermix function is useful when the implement must work at depth through variable-texture soils.

TRANSMISSION Modular transmission for maximum performance: 40FWD + 40REV speeds with De-Clutch Control and Power Shuttle The transmission supplied on the “TECHNO” version with dual dry clutch features a synchronized Speed-Four gearbox with three reduction stages and a synchronized mechanical reverse shuttle that provides 12FWD+12REV speeds. A creeper option can be added to obtain a synchronised mechanical gearbox with 16FWD+16REV speeds and a mechanically engaged PTO. The “base” transmission with dual dry clutch includes a synchronized Speed-Five gearbox with three reduction stages and a synchronized mechanical reverse shuttle (Synchro Shuttle) providing 15FWD+15REV speeds, that can be extended to 20FWD+20REV with addition of the creeper. This configuration offers a hydraulically engaged PTO. The “intermediate” version features a synchronized Speed-Five gearbox with three reduction stages, a creeper and an electrohydraulically controlled reverse shuttle with wet disc clutches (Power Shuttle) providing 20FWD+20REV speeds. This configuration includes a PTO with electrohydraulic engagement. The “top” version features a synchronized Speed-Five gearbox with three reduction stages and an electrohydraulically controlled reverse shuttle with wet disc clutches (Power Shuttle). This configuration includes an electrohydraulic HI-LO (Power-Five) control which reduces the engaged speed by 20%. This system is assisted by an electrohydraulic De-Clutch Control that dispenses with the use of the clutch pedal when changing gears. This top configuration offers a fully electrohydraulic transmission that provides 40FWD+40REV speeds for ultimate driving comfort. A­­ll of the above described configurations offer a wide range of speeds that can be selected in logical sequence, enabling all implements available on the market to be comfortably used and allowing the operator to always select the right speed for every job.

DRIVING POSITION On suspended platform for unequalled comfort The new, generously sized platform is perfectly sealed and mounted on four silent-blocks which absorb vibrations, thereby significantly reducing noise. With its ergonomically-arrangement controls and adjustments and its new computer-controlled digital instrument panel, the driving position of the 3600 tractors offers the driver the most efficient and comfortable work environment possible.

HYDRA - PTO Two speeds for best fuel economy All 3600 Series models (except for the Techno version) feature a PTO with either hydraulic (base transmission) or electrohydraulic engagement, which allows the operator to select between two operating speeds: 540/750 rpm as standard and 540/1000 rpm as an option. A newly designed electrohydraulic control makes for smooth and progressive engagement of the PTO, thereby protecting the rotating parts of both the tractor and implement. The rpm of the 1”3/8 output shaft are permanently displayed on the control panel. In addition, the PTO speed can be adjusted to the tractor’s ground speed when pulling trailers, thus converting the tractor-trailer assembly into a vehicle with six driving and braking wheels that can be operated under extreme conditions in complete safety.

New 3600 Series: specialization continues


­­­ Cab: all-round visibility The first thing one notices when climbing into the cab of a 3600 tractor is the all-round visibility provided by its fully glazed side doors hinged onto the rear post. Built using modern composite materials from the automotive industry, the cab interior is stylish and accurate and features logically-arranged controls according to the latest ergonomic standards. The driver’s seat with multiple adjustments, the power steering system and the height-adjustable steering wheel further improve the driving comfort. The heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system installed on the cab roof and integrated with a filter which purifies the air inside the cab offers the driver significant benefits in terms of comfort, health and safety. Natural ventilation is ensured by the openable front and rear windscreens.

Auxiliary hydraulic circuit: high performance for maximum versatility Two dedicated pumps for the rear and mid-mount auxiliary hydraulic circuit deliver a total flow of 82 l/min (100 l/min with a triple pump available as an option), supplying a variety of hydraulically towed implements. The standard equipment can be integrated with a variable-rate flow divider for the use of hydraulic motors. The hydraulic couplers, arranged in logical position, are the push-pull type.
