KES OFFICE

In Association with Ross Vincent Design This client’s office did not have any aesthetic and did not portray the client’s personality. My intent was to give her a space that is modern, sophisticated, has an edge all while still being comfortable.

I focused on a classic color scheme that can’t go wrong: black, white and gold. I’ve included modern and edgy elements by Kelly Wearstler to give the space character and a touch of luxury.

SKETCHUP RENDERINGS

This design gives the client’s office style and functionality. The black and white elements are classy, while the gold gives it that touch of edge and luxe.

Upon entering the office, the layout feels open and has a natural flow to the space.

Both the client and their guests will have options on where to sit. More formal meetings will take place at the desk; informal meetings on the sofa.

Master Bedroom Renovation

In Association with Ross Vincent Design The existing bedroom lacked a sense of style. The client had a bed that did not fit between the windows, broken nightstands & dressers. The clients also wanted more storage for clothing.

Our solution was to create a bedroom that has style, custom furniture and plenty of storage.

SKETCHUP RENDERINGS

This design gives the client’s space a neutral but sophisticated style. All furniture was custom, and we used fabrics from Holly Hunt, Kneedler Fauchere and Scalamandre.

The most crucial part of this design was the bed. Their current bed did not fit between the windows, making the space awkward. We designed a custom bed that fit perfectly between the windows, had drawers on either side and there’s a platform above that headboard large enough to store their books.

Since the client’s enjoy reading before bed, we wanted to make sure they had proper lighting. We added swing arm sconces that allows them to read in bed without disturbing one another.

My favorite part of the design was their entry hall and vanity. We wanted to make a dramatic entrance so the client’s felt that this was their special space. We used Farrow & Ball wallpaper floor to ceiling with a Kelly Wearstler flush mount light. The vanity also reciprocates that hallway by using the wallpaper. We added a beautiful illuminated mirror and a custom vanity chair that adds a touch of sass.

Master Bathroom Renovation The existing bathroom was no longer functional for the clients. Wasted space due to the oversized jacuzzi tub and lack of storage due to the singlestanding sink. My intent is to create a space with a functional floor plan, a large walk-in shower, vanity for storage, and at the client’s request, a sauna for luxurious relaxation.

BRUSHED BRASS FIXTURES

SKETCHUP RENDERINGS

Upon entering the bathroom, one can immediately see the sauna to the left. The transparency from the glass allows for a clear sight line, and therefore still feels spacious. The openness of the shower also allows for the illusion to continue.

I wanted to this bathroom to pack a punch with style and attention to detail, but I didn’t want it to become overwhelming. With the use of the white ornamental tile on the walls, this added detail without overwhelming the eye. The large scaled blue pattered tile balances out the smaller white tile as well.

Brushed brass finishes on the lighting, mirrors and faucets adds that perfect touch of luxury and chicness.

The white lacquer wall-mount vanity gives this space a modern look, rather than it being overwhelmed with Moroccan features.

Hotel Room Numbers & Wayfinding Signs In Association with Ross Vincent Design

I was given the opportunity to custom design the room numbers, wayfinding signs and bathroom signs for the hotel project that was recently completed.

The hotel’s design is a contemporary take on Art Deco; therefore I wanted these signs to reflect that notion.

An example of the wayfinding signs during its creation.

FREE-HAND DRAWINGS Walt Disney inspires me on many different levels. In design: paying attention to detail. In work: never give up and be a team player. In life: have fun, be curious, and always continue to learn. I’m no animator, but I love making portraits of Disney characters.

Before Mickey Mouse, there was Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. PieEye Mickey is my favorite!

Baby Herman from Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Fievel, my other favorite mouse. Not Disney, but he’s too cute.
