I need no maps, As I follow the horizon I need no ways, Stars pave my paths
I need no stops, I live in the winds I need no songs, As I live the music all around me. Arjak
The greatest signature of man kind are not on papers or mammoth contracts. But written on earth, as trails wrote by brave explores by the ink of passion,
spirit of gods and fountain head of their bare foots.
The Great Silk Road. The Silk Road was and is a network of trade routes connecting the East and West, and was central to the economic, cultural, political, and religious interactions between these regions from the 2nd century BCE to the 18th century.
My inspiration came from the brave travelers who wandered this ancient route without any assistance of hi-tech navigation, but memory, observation, primitive maps and astronomical guidance.
I connected all the places of importance in India the finally connect with the main Silk Road via Hindu Kush Region. The Pattern that evolve after connecting this places have been considered as the logo for the bike.

Leonid meteors The Leonid meteors represent the fastest known shower meteors, barrelling in at 72 km/sec.
I took my inspiration form the name of the existing bike that is
Meteor, I consider naming it Leonids, which means the fastest meteors. I my context the name metaphorizes the early ancient explorers who paved the great route such as The Silk Road and many more.
The Royal Enfield logo have been placed as the location spot, just like in a map. Pointing out a destination. Over here which means the bike itself is the location. Leonids metaphorizes the traveler and logo as the driveling spirit.
Further I took reference for deriving the motorcycle design form ride of choice of these ancient travelers.
These reference helped me to land on a finalized theme and vision.
I tribute my design to all those who dare to travel and explore. Particularly Thierry Sabine who derived the legendary Dakar Rally.
Exploring components
Soaking up the theme by sketching the original motorcycle. After that exploring into a direction.
Key sketch
Exploring into the direction of the key sketch as mentioned before.
