Enjoy our crisp winters, colourful springs, gentle summers and golden autumns. It’s been a struggle for growing businesses to be able to get what they need locally to make the most of those opportunities.
If we don’t have what they need immediately in stock, we’ll source it. Our aim is to allow each business operator to stay focussed on their day-to-day business, while we do all the hard work behind the scenes. It will be a streamlining action for both parties.
Our new Corporate IT Team has been developed to solve that frustration. It’s something new for the region, new for us, and we believe a major windfall for many businesses. Business proprietors now have full access to a Commercial Computer team dedicated to

Banyard Game Birds From incubation to your plate, and everything in between, this small Pittsworth enterprise’s motto is food with integrity. Supplying to local butchers and restaurants, farm gate sales are also readily organised. Ever tried a pickled quail egg? Well, now you can. Choice Urban Farms If ever there was a flower that screamed “smile”, it would have to be the stunning sunflower. Choice Urban Farms have no doubt created the happiest farm in the region then, with their recently launched sunflower farm. These tall rays of sunshine can be found in many cafes and markets around Toowoomba. My Local Feast Farmers’ Markets Hosting not one, but two weekly markets, My Local Feast Farmers’ Markets ensure your fresh local produce needs are met regularly. Located in the quaint Empire Theatre grounds and Cobb+Co Museum grounds every Thursday and Saturday respectively, don’t forget the heavy-duty shopping bags. We did warn you.

Cabarlah Markets Held on the last Sunday of every month in the Cabarlah Sports Grounds, these markets provide that leisurely “I’m not looking for anything in particular, oh look there’s a cup that would replace the one missing from my 1950s dinner set” vibe. An eclectic mix of produce, arts and crafts, trash and treasure, plants… Need we go on? PCYC Markets You know something’s a hit when it’s been running for over 20 years with no signs of slowing down. The PCYC Markets, held every Sunday, have become another Toowoomba institution with locals making the weekly pilgrimage for all manner of produce, bric-a-brac and more.

STONE IS FOREVER Established in 1896 by John Henry Wagner primarily as a specialist provider of Australian Helidon Sandstone, Granite, Basalt, Porphyry and Marble products and services, the company JH Wagner & Sons is still owned and operated by the Wagner Family. The advanced manufacturing facility in Toowoomba, large Sandstone Quarry at Helidon and the Brisbane office and distribution centre are managed by fourth generation family members, working alongside the fifth generation who are currently honing their skills in the ancient trade of Stone Masonry. Together this wealth of experience still upholds strong values of personalised service, quality supply and dedicated promotion of natural stone. Monumental works with stone etching remain a traditional focus of our company, but the range and scope of what we do is limited only by your imagination. We welcome your enquiry for stone sourcing, stone quarrying, stone processing, fine detailing, stone carving, all facets of stone working, stone restoration, installation and consultation.

Explore the Surrounds
The Toowoomba region encompasses so much more than Toowoomba itself. Stunning natural wonders await for explorers, adventurers, photographers and leisurely day-trippers. Take a country meander to discover the galleries, museums, markets, vineyards and fine foods across the Darling Downs.
Highfields, Crows Nest, Hampton and Ravensbourne are popular for the lovely scenery, galleries, quaint shops and history. No trip to Hampton area is complete without a stop at Emeraude. Enjoy a day out at Highfields Pioneer Village which includes a 21-building miniature historical village, old school house, or go to Crows Nest Museum and Historical Village. Jondaryan offers the historic woolshed, while the small town of Nobby is home to Rudds Pub — where Steele Rudd is said to have written his Australian classic ‘Dad and Dave’ stories. Enjoy a leisurely country drive and wind up at Cambooya’s famous Bull and Barley Inn for lunch or dinner — or just enjoy the inn’s colonial style. Tickle your taste buds, explore local history, hike through nature’s beautiful parklands or just escape and enjoy the tranquillity of wide open spaces.

THE BUNYA MOUNTAINS
A natural high
The Bunya Mountains is a spectacular wilderness range that rises dramatically from the Western Downs plains. Whether you are after action and fun or rest and relaxation, the ‘Bunyas’ has lots to offer families, couples and groups.
forests, woodlands and subtropical rainforest. It is home to about 215 species of birds and many mammals, frogs and reptiles. The local wallabies and brightlycoloured parrots are popular visitors to the public picnic areas.
Getting to the national park is part of the adventure as you wind through picturesque farmland and quaint country towns. It is a scenic 90-minute drive northwest of Toowoomba, which makes it an easy day trip or short stay.
At 1100 metres, the Bunya Mountains offers a cool reprieve with temperatures up to seven degrees cooler than the surrounding plains. Its climate, many walking tracks, spectacular mountain scenery and abundant wildlife, make the park a serious drawcard for hikers, photographers, nature lovers and people wishing to escape the heat and hustle of the city.
If you draw a line between Dalby, Crows Nest and Kingaroy, the Bunya Mountains is the green island in the centre, providing a refuge for ancient plants and native animals. Many people are surprised to learn it is the second oldest national park in Queensland, but it’s real roots are much older than that. This natural wonderland was formed about 30 million years ago and shelters the largest forest of ancient bunya pines Araucaria bidwillii in the world today. Generations of Aboriginal people would travel long distances for feasts and celebrations that coincided with mass crops of bunya ‘nuts’. The national park is an interesting mix of eucalypt
