The magazine Ruta del Arte brings out its tenth edition –an invitation to art lovers to visit artists’ studios in Ibiza and Formentera, and a guide to the art scene on the islands. Few would have assumed that the informal association of some artists would create such a long lasting enterprise. Artists are individualists and more inclined to be critical with each other than cooperate on a broad base, we were told. All the more reason to celebrate that it is still thriving.
